If you're a fan of the original Alien Movie, you have to watch Prometheus. This is the prologue for the original Alien. Great special effects made better by 4K Ultra. Explains a lot about the creation of the Alien creature and how they came to be on that planet.

Very entertaining story. If "Hollywood" would have put a little more money and time into the production of "Prometheus", then this would have been a blockbuster. Nevertheless, this was still very entertaining. I like it enough to buy more copies and sent those copies to my adult children.

This movie is unsurpassed in any of the Alien series. You will watch it over and over and love it more each time. There is so much detail, you HAVE to watch it again! As for the Blue ray, you'll think you're in the movie with them! As always, I buy my movies at Best Buy and always get the best deals!

Ridley Scott's return to the Alien Franchise brings new to depth to the franchise's mythology by going way back to explore the origins of the deadly alien. The movie is a little slow, but beautifully shot, and requires the viewer to think a little bit to grasp what's going on.

For me, the most spellbinding scenes involve the crew members exploring the passages and caverns inside the pyramid, obviously unvisited in aeons, and their experiences with some of the hibernating alien beings.

This is one of the best movies currently available to truly test your home theatre system. The 3d is awesome, the surround sound is top notch, and the story keeps you very interesting. The DVD comes with tons of extras and was a great deal for only $20.

I saw this in the theater the day that it came out. It kind of blew me away. I liked how it was its own story but tied in with the alien movie franchise. Its well acted, great special effects and just visually stunning. The 4k is perfect for this film and i highly recommend it.

Prometheus is a modern day sci fi space drama. Although the film is capable of standing on its own, it is most fittingly a prequel to Ridley Scott's 1979 film Alien. Acting is superb. the story is suspenseful. This is a must have for any Alien fan!

Its a pretty good movie since i have followed the Alien movie series for decades now, this movie is about how the series started out ! I love the movie and have watched over and over again and the special affects are just amazing

Prometheus is an excellent Sci -Fi Movie!!! However, 4K Ultra HD takes this particular movie to a whole new level!!! Fantastic picture quality super sharp!!! Get out and buy this DVD disc you will be impressed!!!

I was mostly pleased with this film when it came out, as I am a pretty big fan of the Alien franchise. This version includes an extra disc with special features that are not found in the standard Blu-ray release.

I like well done Science fiction and this movie fits the bill. I enjoy a movie in 3D if its used to enhance the story and make it more enjoyable and not a bunch of cheap shots thrown so it can be called 3D. The 3D was used to enhance as it was in Avatar.

Yeah I said it, well it doesn't meet my criteria for 3D effects in my opinion. Plus the story is really bland, I know its like a prequel to the alien series pretty much. But don't let my review be a deal breaker, it is excellent on the marks of total immersion, it literally drew me into the screen. But you probably could just watch the regular bluray and hit the 3d button to get the same effect. Minimal ghosting even though their was some and minimal crosstalk. But there is no screen popping effects whatsoever, the video quality is excellent. But no screen popping effects in a sci-fi movie is a deal breaker for me. I hope this review helps my fellow 3d lovers.

If you love sci-fi this movie does not disappoint! I have to say it here because I know many people that didn't realize... But this is an Alien prequel! I know people that had their mind blown learning this fact, and went from thinking the movie was weird to loving it!

To the Alien saga. Fans seem to be torn and can agree it's not one of Scott's best, but satisfied some of our desire to find out where the "Xenomorph's" originated. Or maybe it just left us wanting more! Either way it's a must in my SciFi Collection.

there seems to be an army of people on the internet that thrive on bad-mouthing anything. this film usually doesn't get positive reviews but all I can say is we enjoyed it and will watch it again sometime. Awesome world created in this movie.

I didn't find this as good as the originals, too much liberal SJW BS in movies now, but it was a decent movie. NOT a horror film though, if you are looking to watch something with the impact of the original, this isn't it.

This is the best this film has ever looked, but I can't give it 5 stars because they didn't include an ATMOS or DTS:X track. Come on Fox! It's still a nice step up from the blu-ray and worth picking up at a decent price.

There certainly is a mix of people who like and do not like this film. Personally, I love it and feel it belongs in the Alien universe. Beautiful disc and awesome soundtrack.

I already own on blu ray but couldn't turn down the UHD version and I'm glad I made the purchase. WOW, even from a 2k scan this looks really Good. You can see everything on the computer screens to the special effects, this disc is phenomenal. BUY IT
