I really liked the movie and the contents that came with.

The story is inconclusive at best and clutter. Is this a pre-quel of aliens?

Prometheus is a really beautiful movie, but it doesn't make a lick of sense.

3D was OK but if I'd known this was the prequel to Alien, I wouldn't have bothered. Nothing in description other than the director's name gave me a clue as to its plot. Pretty lame.

I didn't care for this movie at all. Thought it was pretty dumb actually. Although in all fairness I don't generally like sci-Fi horror/suspense/ or whatever you want to call it anyway. The kids seemed to think it was ok.

This movie should be thrown in the trash can it is ridiculous. There are a lot of scary images Gore and really makes no sense.

Hello reader, I'm not going to go on and on as time is precious. I will just say that even with all it's flaws Prometheus is one of the best sci-fi movies of the decade. They don't make films like this anymore. The average person may not like it but the average person has pretty bad taste. Disagree? Look at popular music, books, and tv. Prometheus has (mostly) great acting, amazing special effect, some plot holes, beautiful cinematography, and is done in the spirit of classic sci-fi films. The validity of the two negative reviews below is obvious if you check the thumbs up and down they have received.

Let me preface this with the advice that if you do NOT like Science Fiction Action films with a plot that keeps you guessing, this 3D Blu-Ray movie will not convert you. However, if you were awed by the 3D visual feast that Avatar presented then this would be a worthy add to your 3D Blu-Ray collection. After watching both the HD Digital Streaming version from Cinema Now and the 3D Blu-Ray version, the difference is 'out of this world' and incomparable in terms of the Prometheus viewing experience. Ridley Scott and crew have done a great job of affirming that your investment in a 3D HDTV Home Theater System was worth it to watch film spectacles like this. An Impressive HD Experience.

I thought it was an amazing movie, the visuals the story and the atmosphere were astonishing , some people did not like this film due to the confusion with the previous aliens but honestly I did mind and thought it brought a mystery element to it , the captain was the only dull performance which was played by Charlize Theron , watch it for yourself and decide
