Many opinions on this based upon it's origins. If you watch it for what it is, it's certainly entertaining. The movie changes pace about 1/2 way but best to judge for yourself.

Hadn't been able to see this so bought it since I was trying to watch the aliens and predators since the new alien movie was coming out. It's more a backstory type movie and I liked that it was a little different!

Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" has all the cool Sci Fi "Tech" that is expected and all the creepy Alien Feel of the Original. And the Geiger-esque scenery in the Alien Space Craft is wonderful!!!

I love the entire Alien series. This was a great addition. You think by now that people would learn nothing good come out of exploring a horseshoe shaped alien ship and don't even go near those egg shaped thingies!

Really great movie and really great characters also. Would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who loves watching movies. Two thumbs way up.

I have no problem admitting that I was and am not a fan of this film. I feel that it sorely falls short of the greatness that was the first two Alien films. However, one cannot contest the beauty that Ridley Scott creates in this film with his visuals, which are enhanced by the 4K transfer. Does that make this movie worth the purchase? I suppose, but really only if you're a massive film enthusiast or, if you're like me, and are a completionist looking to complete your Alien movie collection.

This really obviously seems like a prequel to Alien, which was before my time. I do think the storyline could have been better, but I really like how it seems to tie up to the original Alien line of movies. Definitely better on Bluray.

This movie is a must for any fan of the Alien series and Ridley Scott. Tells a great backstory as this is a prequel to the Alien series. It's a bit long, but there is plenty to look out for, and repeat viewings shed more light on the story.

I enjoyed the train of thought in the plot. We all question origins and this was one thought provoking yet entertaining answer. Alien lovers and sci-fi fans will like this.

This movie on my tv looks amazing. Storyline isn't that great but the fx make up for it. Also if your an alien fan like me (who isn't?) you will like the origin story that Prometheus tells.

The 3D presentation of this film on my OLED is simply terrific. Its not the best movie ever made or anything but the 3D treatment is amazing. Very highly recommended for those with a good 3D setup at home!

this may be part of the alien franchise, but you do no need to know anything about the alien films to enjoy this, excellent film on its own, video and audio blu ray quality is superb, great addition to the alien universe

If you haven’t seen this movie watching it on 4K is the way to watch it and if you already have seen it and love this movie rewatching it on 4K is a must.

Bought this in anticipation of getting a 3D TV. Reviews of the 3D quality were positive. This is a nicely put together package, with many extras. Looking forward to seeing it in 3D.

Not everyone loves Prometheus (which is understandable to a certain degree), but there is no denying that this is a great looking blu-ray, and is worth adding to your collection.

The 3D is excellent. Even though the movie is overlong it is still worth a look as it fits into another point in the saga of the "alien" species. Looking forward to the movies that come.

This has two versions of the movie with special features and was on sale for a terrific price. As a compelling, complex film that rewards repeat viewings, it's a good one to own and share with friends.

This is a nice addition to the Alien storyline. They are able to fill in some of the gaps from the Alien movies. The 3D is effective, but not the in-your-face 3D that sets those movies apart

If you love pure sci-fi you will love this movie if you want to see Aliens (Cameron's film) you may not. It's more thought provoking than action. So I walked in with an open mind and enjoyed it. Worth a spin

This is a great prequel to the alien universe. If you are a fan Of the alien movies then you will surely like this movie. Looks amazing in 4k
