It was long and terrible I feel like a phone asleep are you ok ; the book was okay in the movie quality was good just in like the movie thanks a lot. It was terribleness. Wish I could take it back.

1. Great sets. 2. Interesting plot, but editing adds some confusion. 3. Fair character development. 4. Unintended "funny" scene at the end - Never run in the same direction as the huge falling object! Squish! But roll 3 feet to the side - you're OK.

Producer and Director Ridley Scott had a chance to make a great movie with "Prometheus" but ended up with a mediocre one at best. Nice looking movie with great 3-D effects so not a total loss.

Good climatic effects, decent, mysterious storyline. Although, I did not like many of the gory, and just frankly gross scenes. Its almost horror in some scenes. Certainly don't need to see it twice...

Was hoping for a more gripping story. Slow and confusing. Nothing was answered as the advertising suggested

I've always been a big Aliens fan and getting the answers to how it all happened was what got me to see this. The movie is ok but the pacing is off. Great special effects but I was left wanting more.

All style, no substance. A pointless prequel that raises more questions than answers. Dumb characters are obscured by flashy production values. I'd rather watch Alien 3 than this.

It was fair could of had more creatures being it was a beginning of Aliens and the actors could of been better picked not a favorite but on sale so bought to collect with trilogy.

There was no sticker with code to get movie certificate on outside of packaging. Wasn't inside either. None of the Alien movies on display had any stickers attached.

Case came in the mail cracked at the top of the spine & spiderwebbed downwards. Movie is excellent as always.

I like sci-fi movies and bought this one on sale. Movie was good enough, but the DVD stalled and skipped. Will have to return it - hope they have others

But the movie itself is poorly executed and makes no sense. I felt likt there was a good movie buried in there somewhere, but this isn't it.

Alien is one of the greatest science fiction horror movies of all time - and Ridley Scott has been living off of that hype for years. Prometheus was his returned to science fiction and I was hoping that he would have some of that quality that he had shown in Alien and in Blade Runner - but this movie is a mess. Loaded with terrible acting, a dreadful and ridiculous script and dumb science fiction cliches - it is a waste of time.

Thought I would like this movie. Turns out I did not. It was kind of boring.

I was not thrilled with this film. I purchased it because it was only $5 and the story line seemed intriguing. This film just did not deliver...

Somehow this became the start of the Alien franchise, unofficially from what I understand. Not great, but part of the story.

The twist in the storyline lead to a disappointing result in the latter part of the movie.

Based on the actors in the movie I thought it was gonna be much better.

Ridley Scott drops the ball yet again by choosing style over substance.

Pretty to look at but falters on story. I wouldn't really bother with this movie.
