It's one of my favorite sci-fi films and I highly recommend this movie. I got this movie in both 3d (more extras# and this 2d versions #for different cover)

The movie is amazing. Brings up some great topics to talk about. Really liked the planet they were on. As for the aliens they were killer cool. The visuals are nice. The 3d brings the film to life.

Interesting movies with nods to Alien-but stands on its own just fine if you have never seen any of the aliens films. Films looks GREAT on Blu-Ray.

The Alien prequel series have been a big let down. This movie had big effects, but the script just failed to draw me in, and literally depressed me. No joy at all in watching this. Just wanted it to be over. If you're hoping to cheer the good guys on to victory, not gonna happen here. Just hated it.

i bought this movie because of how many people are talking about it and the overwhelming response. overall impressions after those 2 hours um what happened?! the movie has a simple concept but through the movie your kind of like unsure of the real reason for why their there and the reason for the things happening. their is alot of questions that i feel have not been answered at the end of the movie. overall i dident think it was very and wouldent recomend watching it.

Another good edition to the Alien series and the origin.

A Ridley Scott prequel that shows the start of the Alien franchise. Can't say I expected the ending but totally understood the movie when I saw it.

I think that this was a really interesting movie. I think that it was very good that it stuck to the classic sci-fi feeling and that it was a different scenerio that the characters were put in. I think that it was an ok movie. Charlize Theron is an amazing actress and I love her in any role. She played her character well. I would not watch it a second time though.

With it being on sale and having $10 off coupon, it cost me less than $4 for it. Bonus features are interesting and storyline was decent

Ridley Scott did it again. The picture copy on this blu is amazing. The acting, direction, cinematography and story are great.

It is a good movie and the special effects was good. It is a good story line going into the seres I will wait for the next installment I would recommend this to a friend!

Ridley Scott makes his much anticipated return to science fiction. Its mostly successful but not nearly the quality of Alien.

This is a great movie and the price was amazing-especially for a Blu-Ray + Digital format. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this purchase!!

This movie from start to finish had me on the edge of my seat.Watching it on my new 70 inch Vizio was great. It was like I was in the movie. Great movie to watch.

A fair film, but one that caused me to want to scream at the screen in disgust too many times. Too many characters are written in such as way so that their behavior does not correspond with what one would think a person who is presented to be X would do in that situation. I now use this film as a reference whenever I want to talk about writers who write poor characters. An example would be the two men who need to stay in the alien "facility" during the storm. They see plenty of examples or carnage, yet when they are presented with something that looks like a snake and is in what looks like a striking position, actually coo about how beautiful the thing is, just before the inevitable strike and death. How immensely stupid and irrational for a character in that situation. It was death for my immersion in the film. Writers need to write characters that respond believably.

Very good movie that does a well job in connecting the original Alien movie to this movie. Too much visual effects.

The film may not be for everyone, but it looks beautiful on Blu-ray. Interesting bonus features, also.

I really don't know why this movie got slammed so much. Take it as a movie and not a history lesson. Enjoyable

When I buy a 3D movie, I am always hoping for lots of things to pop out of the screen. This movie's 3D wasn't the best though compared to other DVDs I own. With all the action going on, I thought the 3D could have been made much cooler. The plot was good, but the movie had slow moments. I did enjoy it though. It is not a horror movie, but a couple moments might make you jump:)
