I liked the movie alot and felt the need to own it on 3D. I waited til BestBuy had it on sale and did not regret my purchase. They are making a part 2 and I am definitely seeing that one. The wife isnt too much into sci fi so she wasnt a big fan but it looked awesome and feels awesome watching it in my living room in 3D.

It's been a long time since a "fresh" approach was taken to the Alien series. Prometheus is a great new addition to the franchise that looks into the origins of the Alien species, as well as man. A fun action/suspense film that answers some questions, and leaves others open for the possibility of a follow-up film!

The Alien series is definitely not dead. Prometheus takes a deep space exploration team to find the answers to life itself. What they find is much worse. Stunning imagery and special effects provide you with a horrifying experience in worlds beyond. Prepare to be dazzled in 3d as well.

This film was a masterpiece! Prometheus was stunningly beautiful on 4k. highly recommended! Bestbuy delivered 1 day early and i appreciated that. This is a must own if you enjoy the alien franchise.

Prometheus was a good movie with great visual effects and beautiful scene locations (Iceland). The story can be confusing at times so pay attention. Michael Fassbender can be creepy at times. It is minorly scary. A great movie if you watched the original Alien. Watch the first Alien movie before you watch Prometheus.

While I had mixed feelings about PROMETHEUS when I saw it on the big screen, it's directed by the great Ridley Scott and has a terrific cast. But the best thing about this Blu-Ray is the epic length behind the scenes documentary by Charles de Lauzirika! I wish every good film had this quality of behind the scenes.

Ridley Scot brings a great cast together for this SiFi flick that is sure to be reminiscent of Alien (1979). If you are a fan of that series of films be sure to give this one a watch. Scot claims that this film is not a prequel to the 1979 film, but I like to imagine that it is. I would love to see a sequel and with the way the film ends it is definitely a possibility.

A good entry into the Alien franchise, but tends to dip into horror tropes. In 4k, it is a must see with deep blacks and 3D-like highlights.

I enjoyed this movie from purely the "entertainment" perspective. It's also an interesting seed for explaining how the world of the Alien movies started out and I would be interested in seeing a follow up to this if they ever make it. I enjoyed the special effects a lot and the 3D was pretty clean as well.

I am a fan of Ridley Scott, or should I say of his films. Regardless of his personal, political or religious beliefs, the man knows how to tell a story and entertain an audience. I never got the connection to Alien but I'm willing to watch both again and again, paying close attention until I do.

Prometheus is a prequel to the alien series from the creator of the original. Because of this people obviously had great expectations. Fortunately the movie does not disappointed. However some people hate it. It may not be as good as the original alien but it is still a great movie. The movie has a few minor plot holes however aside from that everything is great.

Prometheus was a very good film. IT however shouldn't really be considered an Alien prequel. There was very little correlation to the Alien films. That aside it had a decent story line, but the movie itself was beautiful to watch alone. Plus Michael Fastbender(sp) was fantastic!

Was very skeptic before watching this film. Thought there is nothing exiting to a Sci FI fan like me. Was wrong. It's Ridley Scott for gods sake. Smart, exciting, beautiful movie with a message. And maybe just maybe will make you think about those big questions about life. Maybe we are not meant to meet our creators at all. Can't wait for the part 2.

The movie was kept under wraps until it came out to theatres and confirmed everyones suspicion it was related to alien, with a lot of prequel easter eggs it makes you want to rewatch the original movies. Good acting, with a good story to follow along with makes you wish there was a sequel out now.

An entirely new cast is brought in to help explore the origins of the Xenomorphs and Wayland Corp. While there are some odd plot areas there is still great Alien horror scenes and interesting to see the "origins" of one of the most dangerous creatures in the galaxy.

The movie was enjoyable with a decent storyline and on the whole well acted. The 3D effects were well done. I had no 3D side effects while watching it. The alien planet was believeable and the spaceship was a delight. Although there were some far-out ideas, most of Prometheus was realistic.

I recommend this moved purely as a fun sci-fiction film. There's not a lot of big budget sci-fi or fantasy films made, so when they do come out I relish them. Its not as good as the original two Alien movies but compared to all the other garbage Alien and Predator movies, I think its rather great!

Probably one of, if not my, favorite films that's come out in recent years, so always content when I am able to watch it; At the price (9.99 at the time [on sale]) there is no going wrong with purchasing it. P.S. It's the only real way to watch the movie, without the extended scenes, the movie isn't being done justice.
