I could not wait to buy the blu ray because i new quality would be outstanding. I was not disappointed. The extras on the other disc did not disappoint. I would given it 5 out 5 if they provided the option to download to an android phone.

The picture quality is fine, it's not much better than the regular blu-ray, and there are a lot of features missing from this release, but it is still pretty decent.

I really liked this movie. it has a great science fiction approach to questioning the beginning of life on earth & whether meeting your maker is something good or bad. Some of the 3D effects were nice, but nothing exactly popping off the screen...I had hoped for more than I got.

I ordered Prometheus 4k release on sale for $10, great movie wanted to upgrade from my standard Blu Ray that I had already. Arrived in great condition, no cardboard slipcase (not sure if this movie ever had one).

By foreign, I mean "alien" to us. It's a prequel to a film where severe chest pains are usually a little more serious than cardiac arrest or gas. The film stars Charlize Theron in her hottest moment... And by hot, I mean she has a flame thrower... For a moment. Go watch it. It's pretty good. The end.

Great science fiction movies, great graphic ..This movies has a lot of sound effects.. Is like U enter an out space true reality but even though is fake because is a movie it seems true like u are inside the movie experience everything that is going on.. Love it .. I wish they make movies like this, wishes they make more 3D movies like Prometheus

If you were hoping Ridley Scott would give us a prequel to Alien that had the same power that that the original had, you'll be disappointed. If you are just hoping for a good science fiction film that happens to look stunningly great (especially in 3D), this film should hit the spot.

I'm a huge aliens fan and even though they were missing from pretty much all of this film it was great to see how it all started. There's some very dumb characters that do very dumb things but it wouldn't be very entertaining if they didn't now would it?

Prometheus has great visuals and the 4k HDR really developed them however the story is a bit messy and no wonder a second attempt was made (Covenant is a sequel to this and tried to fine tuned the story and adds more gore and alien shots)

I bought this in standard Bluray format before I bought a 3D TV. Big mistake because now I have a 3D TV and this movie is much cooler to watch in 3D. And I got this on sale too, so that was a big bonus since I never see 3D movies on sale, nor have they gone down in price since they first came out. Or at least I haven't noticed a decrease.

quality of movies is good. However theres something off about this version. Could be better, most 4k uhds are better quality than this

Bought the 4K version to watch on new 4K Bluray player. It was like seeing the movie for the first time again. True to Ridley Scott feature good storytelling and thought provoking. Definitely buy and get Alien Convenant to finish the storyline.

This is another good sci-fi movie to watch in 3d at home. It is shot in native 3d and the 3d adds to the experience. I did find that my high expectations for this movie were not quite met, but its a purchase that I do not regret.

Many people did not like this movie, and while I agree it is almost shot for shot the original, it adds it's own unique spin on the original Alien movie. If you are a fan of the series, definitely check this one out. Those who are not or didn't care much for Alien might want to avoid.

Man, I love this film. Its eerie, its gruesome, its just great. Plenty of replay value as its the prequel to Alien. Fassbender steals the show with his performance. Do yourself a favor & check this film out if you haven't.

The crew follows a star map to a location where others lived. During their exploration they discover other beings (called Engineers and look like humans). Then all kinds of weird things happen which i won't tell you about because you should watch the film and be surprised. :)

Love this movie. Majority of people i've spoken with have problems with it but, i think it's fantastic. This is a rebuy for me as I initially bought it on dvd before I had a blu-ray player. Special effects and landscape of this film really look spectacular on a HD monitor. The blu-ray has a director's commentary with Ridley Scott.

Overall, not like the original Alien/Aliens movies. This is supposed to be the prequel and I can see how it can be confusing to some, but it still starts off the franchise. Visually impressive but not as intense as the Alien/Aliens movies

Found this dvd on a rack for less than 5 dollars. I feel the film could've been better and maybe a little shorter actually but is still a cool story to add to the alien series. I had just bought all the alien movies so I had to add this one especially for the cost. Good Deal

If you're a sci-fi lover, you owe it to yourself to check out this film. I believe it's the first of trilogy of films, with the next one due out in 2015. I liked the Alein film series, and this is a great prequel. I've seen it at least 3 times... and that's saying something!
