An awesome journey through space in search of what has created us. Ridley Scott is back on Sci-fi and has created a great movie. Highly entertaining and the sound and picture are great on the Blu-ray. Can't wait for the sequel. Really made me think about the possible origins of mankind and what we blindly accept as accepted truth.

Overall, great movie and prequel to Aliens. Doesn't answer every question, but I'm sure there will be another movie... Extras are good, but watching some of them I thought they should be left in the movie despite the longer running time. But I won't disagree with the Director's decisions, unless a "Director's Cut" is released...

Much like the Alien predecessor this film heavily borrows on the elements when science places more importance on its research than its subjects. Wonderfully executed movie. Special effects are top notch and the characters are believable. I am enamored by this film and would recommend it to anyone I know!

Great Sci-fi film......great entertainment for even some one like me who does not really watch these types of movies much, but found it a good way to enjoy a night at home with a good friend and a cold drink!

Basically keeping true to the old 80s style of movies were its a bit talkitive but definetly pics up towards the end.. awesome acting to help. 3D was ok, but nothing that jumps out at you or anything but for the proce (12.99) why not.

Great visuals and special effects, but I didn't like the story as much as I had hoped. Still a gripping movie experience though, and I will probably watch it again.

Prometheus was a long time coming but well worth the wait! This film was really great and is basically a prequel and origins story for the film franchise Alien. I previously owned this movie on DVD but when I saw the Blu-ray on sale I just had to buy it!

3D version was on sale and depth was good. Not too gimmicky with the exception of maybe the last scene with the credits which alien fans may enjoy. A lot of dark scenes so sometimes hard to see.

This is an extraordinary film. It is not as much of a horror film as the other Alien films, but it keeps you on the edge of your seat because the world they discover is so mysterious. The movie is steeped in mythology. A great watch!

This underrated Ridley Scott flick looks great on blu-ray. A solid assortment of bonus features, deleted scenes worth a look for fans.

I believe this movie was made with best of Intensions. I think there were so many questions unanswered. Their were so many riddles that even by the end people were wondering what was going on.

Prometheus is a great sci-fi film and a darn good prequel to the Alien films. The action is great, its is suspenseful, unsettling and filled with great acting. Check it out.

If you like movies of this genre, you will be thoroughly happy with this movie. The visuals are incredible. Again, at the price point I found this, the purchase is a no-brainer.

Overall I really liked this movie. I saw it in the theater but not in 3-D and loved it. Got it home and watched in 3-D and was not blown away. Overall I recommend this movie.

This movie is just great Sci Fi, If you go into it expecting an "Alien" prequel you will be disappointed but if you go into it just wanting to see a good sci fi movie with a few "WTF, really" moments, then you will enjoy it.

Got this on Black Friday as a gift to myself. Couldn't beat the price at under $4. Prequel to the popular ALIEN series and cannot wait for more in the series.

I saw this movie in the theater and hoped that the DVD would have extras that would shed more light on the movie. Unfortunately, there are few extras other than a few deleted scenes which really don't enlighten anything. The movie is intriguing, but many things don't make full sense - as if important details were left on the cutting room floor. (If they were, they are not included in the deleted scenes...) A decent movie, but you get the feeling that it could have much better.

Ridley Scott directed this supposed prequel to the original "Alien" but unlike that film, Prometheus falls shorts. Its not bad, but its not great. The 3D is amazing.

This was a great prequel for anyone who liked the Alien series. Great plot, very good acting, and was a great explaination of how the Alien species began.
