The disc was in new condition and had no problems with the digital copy. The associates were friendly and the price was great. Good movie, but not part of my favorite list. Watching in 3D also made the movie better.

I was glad to see Ridley Scott returned with a new chapter in the Alien films. To start to understand the origins of the Alien movies and how the alien culture was created. Very well done!!

I though this movie was reminiscent of the first alien. It has a similar vibe and feeling. i like it. Was it a great movie. Not really, but it did a good enough job to keep me interested in the upcoming sequels.

Not expecting anything to be different the second time around. I watched this when it first came out and didnt like it so got it as a joke for my wife

Not a review of the movie itself, but for the actual product: It's great because you get hard copies on BluRay and DVD formats and the option to download as digital media (iTunes download is included as one of the digital media options).

A decent start to the Alien Series. It is a very Cerebral type of movie, so pay attention. It could really have used just a little bit more of info, but I assume Ridley Scott is going to address that in the next two movies in the Series. Excellent Movie, anyway.

I really like this movie and the visuals are especially nice. It's not the greatest movie, and the story isn't quite on par with the older Alien movies, but overall it is very good and let's be honest: it looks awesome.

...it pretty much IS a prequel. The "Space Jockey" makes a lengthy appearance...yes, the same one discovered by the "Nostromo" crew, years later. Good movie, even if the dialogue drifts a bit at times.

An Alien story about our origin...Are we descendants of a higher race not of a creator? This is the question of the story. Suggests we are the result of a new planet colony, gone wrong...And now we are to be eliminated!

If you would like to know where the original 'Aliens' franchise started from, this is the movie to watch.

This was one instense movie. it had me gripped from beginning to end. It's one of those movies that I will watch again in the very near future. I am glad to have this in my collection. The special effects are out of this world and the story line is captivating.

We bought the Alien trilogy and thought we would watch this along with the others. I know people gave it bad reviews but we enjoyed it. We got it on sale and added it to our Blu ray collection. No complaints.

Many answers remain unanswered but that's the setting for a sequel in this prequel series to the Aliens. Movies has its moments and some really stupid stuff, but overall a very enjoyable experience.

The movies gives the back story to the alien trilogy if you pay attention there are lots of interesting discoveries and how things happened in the past and future of the alien universe. Well worth watching if you're a Ridley Scott fan too.

Love how this movie sets everything up for what is to come in the later Alien/Aliens movies. Gives you some things to ponder on as well... Where did we come from? Who is our maker? Love movies that get you thinking.

This is one of the few films that is not just Hollywood special affects. It's creative & thought provoking. Which makes it awesome, let alone the 3D detailing! This disk includes the regular Blu ray version & includes bonus footage of an alternate beginning & ending!

This movie was supposed to answer a ton of questions the fans had. Who's the big dude in the cannon chair? Where did the Xenomorph come from? Why are companies so obsessed with capturing the creature? PROMETHEUS does answer those questions but leave many unanswered. Fast forward to this release. Filled with extras and answers that should've been in the movie, in my opinion. If you're a completist like me and feel the need to own each chapter of a franchise you like, this is a good purchase. It was under $10 for the 3D Blu ray collector's edition.

some loved it, some hated it. i loved it very much. alien movie done on this scale is pretty awesome. there were some stupid moments but overrall the tone and acting is spot on. big fan of alien franchise and this one didn't disappoint.

This was a very good movie and I would highly recommend it to a friend I enjoyed having it on Blu-ray it seemed as though the picture quality was much better than that of DVD and made the movie more engrossing

Good creepy sci-fi. Ovoe. Not as good as the first 2 aliens movies but an interesting backstory. 4k looks great.
