    Pro: World building, expanding the Alien lore, Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, and of course, Michael Fassbender. Cons: Writing, plot, stupid characters, running, stupid characters... really stupid characters.

    It's like the filmmakers sat down and made a list of everything the audience wants to see. And then did the antonymous version of that. It looks gorgeous on a plasma screen and the giant white dudes (Engineers?) look creepy and cool but seriously what's up with this movie? Confusing. Weird. Detached. Uninvolved. Forgettable. And they're rewarding themselves by making more of these movies? Let it lie.

    I hated the film in theaters, 5 years later and a quarter of the way through I still do! The 3D 3-disc combo was on sale from 24.99 to 9.99 with $7.50 to Alien: Covenant so in my mind I paid $1.50 for the set..
