Not Worth The Money

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this with the intent of allowing family members who are recovering from surgery to be able to watch on their laps without having to involve a computer. Unfortunately the unit it a bit clunky, it runs too hot to use as a laptop and some key functions don't work without the remote - which wants you to be at least a couple of feet from the unit in order for it to work. I bought two of these and returned both of them. If I decide it is worth finding another unit, I will do more and better research.

However, still under Curtis International Warranty, but they refused to replace the product. Plus the remote never worked.
