Lowes Can Do Better

Returned it a few days later consistent with 1 star evaluations. First dvd played well. Very easy to operate. 2nd dvd bombed. Screen went black right after turning on. After restarting, it would play dvd previews/trailers. But then it would default back to player's home screen. It would not play the movie. Transfered dvd to my old Hitachi for android phones and it played fine. Doesn't build much confidence for buying more costly Lowes' products.

My new one is just I I needed to review all my old family DVD’s. Everything is flash drive now but many of us still have the old dvd

Can’t play Blu-ray

Posted .Hi Samm - portable DVD players are not forwards compatible to play Blu-ray discs (the laser that reads the data is totally different and more complex on a Blu-ray player). Blu-ray players however, are backwards compatible and can play regular DVD's.
