I think it is good to protect my devices from damage.

Bought it since I bought an open box MacBook at bestbuy. However when I got the activation, the date valid starts the day of my purchase and expires within 3 years. I thought it's suppose to extend to another 3 years after the 1 yr mnf warranty is over?

Macbook pro owner since 2012, never had to use any type of insurance eventhough I did purchase it. First time I pay for Apple Care and I give it 3 stars for the simple fact that I have never had any experience using this protection plan.

Too expensive for a three year plan....I'm sure Apple can lower the price on this especially when most people never have to use the warranty. Of course, You want to purchase it, just in case of an unexpected incident.

Not sure this was really needed, but my 16 yr old daughter paid for this herself. Could save me a headache in the future if there is an issue with the new MacBook Air, as I am a more familiar with Windows/PCS.

it was more expensive than I thought it would be or have had in past on other electronics but what can u do but get it but found out it don't cover much but oh well

I dont particularly agree with coverage starting while I already have the manufacturers warranty but does cover water damage. Last one we owned got damaged by what seemed like humidity.

That is what insurance is for because you never know what will happen. Piece of mind. Worth the money

You never know what may happen when you're using your macbook and carrying it back and forth between home, work, and school. Its good to have a backup in such an expensive investment

Kinda disappointed that it has to be their Apple now. Before it was all in house and included accidents and now it has to be thru apple and they don't cover any mishaps

It fits well on the laptop but the edges can scratch your wrist while typing. It would have been nicer if they would provided soft gel edges or at least rounded them.

I usually don't buy protection plans but thought I'd give it a try. I only gave it a 3 star because I won't know if the cost was worth it or not until I use it.

i haven't had to use it however i've heard nothing but wonderful things from apple care. def a must get when purchasing any laptop/computer from apple

They don’t cover screen damage, which is kinda ridiculous.

This plan helps with breaks and other issues with the computer. My daughter dropped her computer and the plan covered the repairs! Great value!!

I purchased the AppleCare for my Macbook because it will be used for college the next 4 years and I really don't need to have any downtime!

Supposedly Macs don't get viruses or have any issues but it's better to be covered than have to pay for a new one if things go wrong.

I like the fact that everything internal is covered, but it bothers me that they are not willing to protect physical damage?
