Of course the computer should not fail and should be taken care of, so it is an unnecessary expense except for peace of mind.

I did not like how Apple would not let me go through geek squad (geek squad has better coverage). No physical damage covered

Apple care is good and all but it would be nice if it could cover accidental, at least for the first accident or something

Havnt had to use it yet, hopefully just the purchase of the plan will prevent the need. Teacher discount is nice.

Long hold times, and they don't always know about the installed programs. But I still appreciate the longer warranty.

I would not recommend buying the AppleCare Protection Plan if you are thinking that it will cover accidental Damage as it does not. When I purchased this I specifically asked the salesman if this cover broken screens or physical damage like the IPhone AppleCare but BEWARE!!!! It does not cover physical accidental damage. My screen broke and I brought it to Apple to have it replaced and they said it would be $500 plus to replace the screen and I was shocked because Best Buy told me it would be covered when I bought it as that was the only reason I bought the protection plan but it does not cover broken screens or damage. So I give this zero stars if I could based strictly on the fact that I was Lied to by the salesman when I bought it. Love the Mac just not the price to fix and Protsction plan

Purchased the extended warranty to get a reduced price on the laptop. Probably would not have purchased otherwise.

It seems like a really good plan but I have not needed to use it so it seems almost useless

Not much to say it's apple care. They take care of what's wrong and are very polite.

Always buy this with apple products. Because it will fail and you will need to fix it.

Hopefully we will not have to use it but good to know we have a back up plan.

My daughter purchased a Mac book last year. I purchased this plan to cover repairs and was very disappointed when it cost us over $700 to replace a cracked screen because it wasn't covered!

The case cracked around the corners! Other than that is was good.

Very useful if something goes wrong so you don't have to pay full price.

I purchased this plan as a precaution but did not need to use it.

Have not had to use this yet but for the price seems reasonable.
