This is a necessity when dealing with Apple. So I had to bite the bullet and purchase AppleCare. Good thing was Best Buy was running a special and I got a little bit cheaper than normal.

I would recommend that anyone purchasing a Mac get the Apple Care protection plan.

Got the extended 3 year AppleCare plan just in case plus the MacBook was on a Black Friday sale so was worth the extra money....less than $100 a year for protection is well worth it if you use it once it pays for itself and if you don't use it the your piece of mind is priceless.

Like every other warranty that you ever purchase, this one doesn't cover EVERYTHING. So make sure you read up on the coverage. In my opinion it is worth the money because it's for 3 years and you just never know what could happen within those 3 years that you could end up needing a repair. Basically for me this is my motto - better safe than sorry.

Apple care is SO worth purchasing. I haven't had to use it this time around but I know from past experience that it makes life a million times easier if something goes wrong with your apple product!

I purchased the Apple Care for 3 years when I purchased my MacBook Pro and it does sure come in handy when I accidentally dropped my MacBook and needed it to be replace.

Extra protection and apple services is a worthwhile purchase. I used the guarantee on another device and glad I had it. Easy replacement procedure.

With four kiddos, this was a no brainier! Brand new purchase, so I haven't had to use it yet, but I wouldn't purchase a new computer without it!

I got this apple care plan when I purchased my MacBook for college. It helped out a lot when I needed assistance downloading applications.

Hoping I will never have to use it but glad I have it in case I do. I like the availability of the help desk for any questions.

Hopefully I won't need to use it, but it makes me feel better knowing I have extended protection if I should need it!

I feel very secure about my macbook air knowing I have apple care protection for emergencies.
