Then sometimes it just keeps going even though the controller was turned off. For the price it is what it is but lacks a lot.

Will get away from you

I purchased this as a birthday present for my 6year old. However, my husband lives drones so insisted on setting it up, and It didn't take him long to figure it out and operate it. Everything was going well until the helicopter stopped taking orders and the direction lever and throttle stopped working. The helicopter flew away. IT LITERALLY FLEW AWAY ON ITS OWN. And we haven't seen it since. Oh but we still have the remote

Fun Helicopter

It survived 6 weeks of "testing" and it still works! It is fairly easy for my 10 year old to control and fly, and the many crashes did not result in broken parts. The signal connection between the helicopter and the remote at times would be wonky, but it also could have been user error.
