First one I bought was already broken in the box when i got it home. Took it back and bought a second one, flew it, It feel from a two foot drop and broke into pieces, inside the house, now I have to buy a $15 repair kit! It's not a very reliable product, and not craah resistant!

I love this helicopter! So much fun to play with! Just make sure you are in an open field and not in a neighborhood. This helicopter can fly really high!

I bought this helicopter since it said it was crash proof, but unfortunately it broke the vry first use. The screws flew mid flight and crashed.

It is too big for in a house flight, unless you have really high ceilings, my 12ft isn't high enough... the ceiling fans don't help. Inside a gym, or big machine shed would be great. It has a 49mhz radio, same thing my old Bo and Luke outlawed orange 'stars n bars' mobile used in 1980... seems like radio range is short. The blade system used here is just like the small IR controlled units, not made for outdoors. I literally just came back in from inside, 2mph breeze, and can't get it to go forward. unless it's got the wind (which is barely there) behind it. Lights are cool, but it just can't do a lot unless it's inside. spend another 20, and get the predator

I’ve been impressed with how durable this is! Every part seems UNBREAKABLE!!! The main and rear rotor blades have already trimmed my shrubs several times when a gust of wind pushed my Helicopter into the bushes, Ha, Ha, Ha! However, the package does include 6 replacement blades just in case it ever breaks from hitting whatever. I'll show you a video of my flying skills. This is my 5th time to fly the Helicopter. I've never ever flown any helicopter before this one! I am surprised how good my skills are. I promise that y'all will be able to learn how to fly the helicopter after your 2nd or 3rd attempt. I'm so, so, so in love with it! Sometime today or tomorrow morning, I'm going to buy the bigger one too!! :) Hopefully this video will prove to y'all how easy and fun it is... I would recommend this to YOU, friends and family. Hell, my 85 year old grandmother could fly my Helicopter. Thank you for taking the time to read my comments and watch a video from my "Customer Review."

We upgraded to this model from the smaller one, which was broken in the box. We decided that if the product was broken before use, that it probably wouldn't be very durable, so we got this one. We charged as the manual says for initial use, and it lasted about 15-20 minutes on the single charge, while the smaller models last 30-45 minutes (we have the green glow-in-the-dark one as well -- which wasn't broken). It died, crashing into our driveway, and nothing broke, so we were happy about that. Of note, these planes DO come with extra pieces, in case something does break.

Upon opening the package, I was happy to see that it came with spare blades. The setup instructions were clear and concise. Charge times of 2-3 hours for 8 minutes of flying time seemed a bit ridiculous, but I figured it would be worth the wait. Initial charge time is 180 minutes. The instructions mention LED lights that change color to indicate charge needed or charge complete but mine does not do that. The LED stays green and lights up anytime the charger is plugged into the wall. At the end of the 3hr initial charge, I took this machine to the middle of my living room and had an easier than expected time adjusting the trim and stopping the spin. Do not fly below 1 ft., as recommended. The copter slides in odd directions and is hard to control below 1 ft. Initial flight was short, but pleasant. The instructions say that 120-180 minutes are required for full charge after the initial charge, so I charged up for 120 min (by setting a timer on my phone). I took the copter to an open area in the house and began to throttle it up. It did not come off the ground, and the blades quit turning, the lights got dim, and then it died. After 2 hours of charging, this battery couldn't stay awake long enough to get the copter off the ground once!!! I charged again for 180 minutes: again setting the timer on my phone so as not to over or under charge the machine. The same thing happened. It died almost immediately, and although the blades spun for a few seconds, it didn't come off the ground. This copter is JUNK!!!! I am returning it for something worth the money.

Just bought this on 03/07/2015 & tried it out since i know how to fly it from practicing on the "Protocol Tiger Jet 3Channel Remote Controlled Helicopter" which fits in the palm of ones hand... Just wanted to get a bigger one so i did :-) And when it comes to the battery... Let the battery Cool Down after charging AND flying the heli. As it will extend the life of it & longer lasting... otherwise you are going to have to spend tons on a Gas/Nitro powered one which is toxic that you will never be able to fly indoors.
