Good value for a decent starter drone

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Protocol's VideoDrone flies, kind of, managed by a clunky controlling device, and takes so-so quality still images and video. Documentation is lacking, so be prepared to stare at instruction clips on YouTube. Overall construction seems kind of flimsy, which is unfortunate in a device that is bound to crash frequently and hard. On the other hand, mine is still functioning after a few weeks of mishaps and pilot errors. The unit really has limited utility, but it's an unquestionably cheap way to learn about the fundamentals of operating a beater drone.
