Product was defective & they were sold out in stores & online.

Bought as a gift, after opening out of return period the drone would not power on.

Can't help because I never got it to work.It was a Christmas gift for my nephew.

it would not turn on. plus it very small, control was twice bigger.

Had this about a year now, great drone overall. It's very easy to fly indoors and extremely responsive which makes flying through hallways and stuff pretty easy. Outdoors however its VERY light weight and gets blown away by the wind so make sure its calm outside and you're away from obstacles. About a year in and it seems like the motors are going bad but they're cheap to replace.

the only beef I have with this thing is that it only has 7 mins of fly time... why would u ever make one that's under 30 mins?? by the time I fly it over something it's gonna die and crash..lol. but it's not bad.

Great drone! Nothing too complicated and the bumpers are awesome to protect the propellers.

Got 2 of these drones for my friends since I skipped a starter drone and went straight for the big with a more expensive drone. So far they love their drones and have enjoyed flying and videoing their flights. One of my friends has already got the fever for drones and is looking to upgrade to something bigger.

4.5 STARS. IT'S GREAT INDOORS AND OUTDOORS ON CALM DAYS. YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO FLY IT OUTSIDE ON A WINDY DAY. MY FIRST ONE LASTED ABOUT 2 MONTHS AND THEN ONE MOTOR BURNED OUT WHICH IS NORMAL. SO I JUST BOUGHT A SECOND ONE. MY KIDS JUST LOVES IT. EVEN A CAVEMAN COULD DO IT

Fun to play when is working. and if doesn't FLY AWAY!!! My son got this on Christmas and we play with it just one time. Was fun and he loved it. Battery gives you 7-8 minutes to play but is hard to close in. Is a decent drone for entry level (kids).....but be aware!!! Second time I used it, the drone was 15 - 20 ft. from me and decided to FLY AWAY!!! I try to bring it back, I tried landing button... nothing work and the drone just disappeared. very high and very far from us. I contacted Protocol ( request # 30665 !!! ....why so many!!!!) but no one answer to my claim online or via 1-800--261-1193 number (left few messages without any success. On Protocol web site they stated that: Fly-aways are not covered by warranty as they are overwhelmingly caused by pilot error. My question is what's happening with these "few" cases when the pilot is not at fault?! .... looks like is still his fault because he decided to buy Protocol drones. This is just my experience with a brand new Protocol drone, fully charged with new battery in the controller. Bye the way, there is no way to make a review on protocol web site.

Fun and easy to fly but company does not honor their warranty. And Best Buy only stood behind this product with considerable argument. When the battery cable came loose, Protocols solution, under the warranty period, was, and I quote, "Can you take it to hobby how to resolder it?" Best Buy should choose better suppliers. I will buy from them cautiously in the future, if at all.
