We had a warm air humidifier and that never helped. Only made it worse(so much for doc's advice). Then we saw this and asked a Ear Nose Throat doctor and they said this would be better. So we tried it and then bought two of them. One for the bedroom and one for the office. She hasn't had any issues since. Great device. :)

It has improve my sleep so much. My room is too big for it to get across the whole room, but being on my nightstand it’s able to provide the relief I need.

Fresh bottle water works bets. I saw results on our dry noses n throat, so I decided to comment. For dry stale air this will help and helps with the ac as well. Also my son likes the night light, thinks it’s cool

There's one button to cycle through all settings (light on/off, low/high), so you'll end up pressing it 5 times to get to the setting you want at times. It's smaller than I imagine, so it is only beneficial for a small room, otherwise you'll definitely be refilling it everynight. My biggest complaint would be there isn't any way to clean inside the tank.
