Filter lasted only 28 days

Replaced filter on April 28th, on may 28th water was dispensing at extremely low stream, tried to figure out what was wrong, did some search online, nothing seem to work. Replaced again on june 9th and water flow is normal, of course out of manufacturer and best buy return period.

This is based off the hardness of your water. Should you have hard water changing your filter would need to be about every 3 months. Our Frigidaire Genuine Filters and many other NSF certified filters use activated carbon filters to remove contaminants in you water including: chlorine; pharmaceuticals and chemicals; heavy metals such as lead and mercury; and other organic compounds that can give water an unwelcome taste and odor. However, it leaves mineral ions such as fluoride, calcium, and magnesium, which are good for the body and even improve the taste of water.
