I replaced the filter after 6 months and immediately felt a difference in flow and taste. I understand water is supposed to be tasteless, but I felt a difference in taste after installing the filter. The water tasted better than before and knowing that it removes so many chemical compounds harmful to your health gave me a sense of satisfaction too.

I was a bit nervous about buying this one because of some of the reviews. At first it seemed like it didn't fit until i realized i jad to take the plastic caps off the prongs. Once i did that it fit perfectly.

I try to replace my filter every six months as recommended, but it does not seem to make much difference in the water taste. I am sure it removes sediment, etc and it is very easy to remove the old and replace the new. Note: be sure to run the water a few minutes as the install directions describe.

Keeps are ice tasting like nothing - which is the point. The same filter when used up is substantially heavier than the new one - so I can only imagine how much it has filtered out from our tap water.

PureSource3 Replacement Water Filter is an excellent product for the money. It lasts for a long time. A yellow light comes on in the refrigerator to alert you that it's close to time to replace it. Well worth the money. Easy to install.

Frigidaire suggest you replace your filter with the pure source 3. this filter actually lasts longer and I had the water tested after 7 months and it was still filtering fine. The price is definitely worth it. It is no more costly then any other store.

I can only say that I’m greatful I didn’t have to run several places to pick up my product. Although it wasn’t in stock the day I was there, I had a choice of home delivery or store pickup. No problem there. My filter was the right one and it’s working properly. No problem installing.
