Story line fails to deliver, predictable and uneventful, not as cute as in Shrek. Adult content innuendos and humor, not necessarily something small children need exposure to and was rather disappointing. Animation was beautiful.

i always thought this was a really cute movie plus i do enjoy dreamworks stuff.

This is one of the best Shrek universe characters, but he is better in the Shrek world than on his own.

We started to watch this movie and stopped quickly. The humor was vulgar. Definitely would not recommend. We discarded the DVD.

The movie itself is great! Both kids and adults alike with enjoy it! Like the Shrek movies, there are plenty of adult-oriented jokes that will make kids laugh, but will really make adults laugh considering they will understand the innuendos. I'm 30 years old and laughed just as much, if not more, than the kids. However, there seems to be a defect in the Bluray 3D disc that comes with the combo pack. I have a 3DTV and a 7.1 surround sound setup and, while the picture looks great in 3D, the sound was not great at all! I went to the settings in the pop-up menu and made sure that I selected the Dolby TrueHD7.1 audio track and it was indeed selected. Looking at the menu, though, it showed that it was only decoding Dolby Digital 5.1 at <600kbs. I quickly switched to the 2D Bluray version to make sure it wasn't my setup and, sure enough, it showed that it was decoding Dolby TrueHD 7.1 at 4MB/sec....and it sounded MUUUUCH better!! I went back to the 3D disc and double checked all my settings again but it still only decodes it at 5.1 Dolby Digital....not TrueHD 7.1!? Looking around on the net, I've seen a few reviews here and there that say this same thing but most people, including actual review sites, say it sounds "awesome" which makes me think that perhaps I have a faulty disc. I have also found no official word from Dreamworks about this and I have not yet had the chance to exchange it at the store.

I never made it to see Puss In Boots on the big screen, but making the purchase of the bluray was just as well. To me the Puss In Boots character saved the Shrek movies and made them more watchable. Puss In Boots having his own movie made sense, and hopefully if they make anymore Puss In Boots, the writers can keep the stories fresh, without doing the same jokes over and over, like the many Shrek movies. All in all, at my age, a guy over age 50, a cat lover, I enjoyed Puss In Boots!

I pre-ordered this, picked it up when store opened. I'd heard from a friend how cute this was. This is especially good 3D movie, simply amazing... One of the best 3D flicks out. Btw this is 3 disc. (3D bluray, 2D bluray and DVD.)

I had originally purchased for my children to watch but as any parent i watched it with them just to make sure content was appropriate. I ended up enjoying the movie more than they did lol. Plot was good visuals looked great and had plenty of funny scenes to laugh at. Its a must see especially if the children have seen Shrek and liked the character

Great family fun for kids of all ages. The clarity and color of the blu-ray dvd were bright and clear. The story line created a terrific adventure and the characters were perfectly animated. What fun!

Its a good movie especially as a standalone. It doesn't really fit being that puss in boots was in shrek. the difference in the movies makes it seem like they are from 2 different centuries. I still would recommend it to anyone especially if you have kids.

We love this movie. The plot is interesting, with many a twist and turn. The humor is mostly appropriate, although there is some very mild bathroom humor. We are sooooooooooo glad we bought it!

good movie to watch with your children. Enjoyed the characters from previous movies lines. Funny most of the time. Antonio Banderas was in good form. He delivered lines with pazaaz. The ending is a little predictable but it was fun to watch.

My fiance and I went to go watch in the theater, loved the movie so much, we picked it up when it came out. Antonio Banderas played perfect on. Great movie for the kids as well!

Although we bought the movie to watch with grandkids, we liked it as well and enjoyed it as well! Gotta love that Puss-N-Boots character and AB's slick voice for the character.

My daughter loves it, Antonio Banderas does a great job and so does that dude from the Hangover movies (he does the voice for Humpty). Good humor and pretty decent plot.
