I use Quicken for Mac very day to download transactions from my bank accounts and credit cards. Makes it very easy to keep track of spending.

Right after I renewed my subscription to Quicken, my bank Chase changed the way it connected to Quicken to pay bills. It isn’t at all the way it was before and I don’t like how it works now. Also Quicken never explained how it was changing and that it wasn’t going to be as good. I want to cancel but Quicken won’t give me my money back. I think that is extremely unfair because I am paying for something I’m not getting now. Just another greedy company who doesn’t care about its customers.

I used Quicken for 20 years. In the last few years they have had problems with Chase updates and this year it has failed to update properly and they have been unable to fix it, but they will still take your money. Oh, and after the auto renewal of taking your money and not providing the service you paid for, they will not refund it. Buyer beware, stay away.

After 20ish years using this program on my PC as a purchased program I tried to subscribe for my new Mac. It appeared to be all set up but when I later went to open it nothing happened. I talked to Tech support twice, one hanging up on me when they didn't know what to do. The other told me it must be my brand new computer, the one every other program works. I asked to cancel the subscription.

Absolutely love this software! It is great for tracking my money and creating a budget!

Works well, the reports are helpful but it would be nice to have default settings be changeable. Converting from older data was difficult but the techs were very helpful!

I've used quicken for many years. When they were with intuit it was an awesome program. This version is buggy. I went to balance my accounts last night and there are times when i notice that transactions are doubled. After balancing an account i went on to the next and balanced it. Synced to cloud. Went back to the prior account and it had multiple checks listed mulitple power bill multiple random eating out transaction. What the heck I just balanced it? The transactions were reconciled. So I was like guess I'll delete the random duplicate transactions. Sycned with the cloud. Became unbalanced again! NOW I have to re-add the transactions I removed. Which took even more time! I'm now a little hesitant with depending on it :( i noticed the duplicate transactions when i was setting up all the reoccurring bills too. Maybe its time i find a different program! I REALLY miss Microsoft money! I also miss intuit makin this program. It used to be so much better & more intuitive.

Quicken continues to be the best personal budgeting software out there, and just keeps getting better. It's "at a glance" net worth and budgeting reports are easy to read and super customizable. I haven't checked out the mobile app yet but the web version is super convenient and has many of the features of the desktop version. Two thumbs up.

I have been using Quicken for more than 20 years. The interface is intuitive and excellent and the product works great - most of the time. It connects to my various bank and investment accounts and automatically downloads the information... Very useful at tax time!

I found a power the moment I began tracking my finances with Quicken, by centralizing all my financial data into one location. I am in better financial condition all because of the usage of Quicken.

Different versions depending on your needs but they are all great. I have been using Quicken for over 30 years and would not consider anything else.

Great application that has been invaluable to me in tracking my finances for many years. The mobile companion app is great too.

bought this, it is NOT ABLE to update an existing customer account, does not say this anywhere. quicken did an update on an older machine, this put the version PAST my expiration date, and i could not enter an activation code, have to go to QUICKEN to buy the code,etc, etc. took about 3 hours to finally delete quicken, get rid of all instances where my email was assoiciated with the program, reinstall (error, you're trying to install other software, etc,etc), multiple system reboots. finally got it erased, have my wife as account holder now. a royal pain. unfortunatly, there are not a lot of other simple banking alternatives out there (I d o NOT DO online quicken at all, just use it as a checkbook). i listed this as recommended, only because of the ability to do the checkbook.

My Quicken software keeps telling me I need to update the existing install I have on my laptop. I try but it it continually fails. I call customer support and after about an hour going thru the phone prompts and talking to the support person he tells me the inability to update is a "microsoft windows 10" problem and I need to call Microsoft. Yea sure. I am disappointed.
