Loved the first one and was stoked when this one came out. A little slower paced than the first. But there was a bit more story to tell. When the action kicked in it was off the charts!

very bloody and good action, would've liked it better if the shootings was more realistic; they shoot a lot, but there wasn't enough impact scenes of the bullets hitting the objects/people, so all you see is the cops and bad guys fire their guns.

I haven't seen this movie, but my husband and brothers all really like it. We try not to own too many movies unless we know we'll watch them frequently. My husband wanted this one, so that tells you how much he likes it.

A great non-stop martial arts flick that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire movie. The tension on-screen will make you tired by the the time you finish.

I'm serious when I say it will go toe to toe and beat Die Hard in every respect except storyline, but the action is so incredible that story becomes irrelevant.

Plot doesn't matter here. The Raid is all about the amazing action and brutal fight scenes. The blu-ray transfer is awesome. One of the best action films ever!

I heard a lot about this and finally picked it up when I saw it on sale for $10 (down from $26). The movie was decent, glad to see it dubbed. I have no problem with subtitles, but its hard to pay attention to the action then. Which is the high point of the movie. This was very intense action through the entire movie. The plot was ok, go in to a hotel to get a drug lord, woo how, but it was the awesome street fighting/martial arts action that made this worth watching. Haven't seen the DVD, but I wasn't too impressed with the blu ray picture, it it may be an improvement from the DVD, who knows.

I do like the idea of watching the video on Vudu that night since i use Vudu anyway, but still would be nice to get the Blu-ray at the same time.

Some of the best fights scenes that I have seen for a long time. The story is a little lacking, but wouldn't you expect that from a purely action focused film? Make time to see the second one!

This is probably one of the best titles an action movie fan could ask for. But watch it with the subtitles and not the cheesy English dubbing.

This movie is full of hyper action. - The characters are hyper when then perform their action scenes. It was well worth the price.

If you're looking for a nonstop action movie, you've come to the right place. Action sequences are expertly shot. Blood/gore throughout, so not for the feint of heart, but highly recommended.

The Raid Redemption is a great Kung fu movie. These guys that to all the crazy stuff are amazing. Everyone needs to buy this movie.

Big fan of kung fu movies, especially all things DONNIE YEN. Was told by many friends to watch these movies. MUST WATCH if your into intense well choreographed fighting etc...

Non stop martial arts action. I bought this for my sister she'll love it. Yes it is subtitled but well worth it.

This is a must have on blu ray. The films stunts and fight choreography are so innovative and vivid that it deserves to be owned on high resolution.

I agree with one reviewer, use the subtitles. Film is very gritty. blu-ray transfer is good, not great, but I think it is what is the way the film is intended to look like.

What a cool movie. Endless action and excitement, this is the kind of action film that anyone could enjoy!

This is one karate flick you can add to your library. Great martial arts action and gun fights.
