I think that this was the best movie Stallone ever made, it had everything a movie could have and more.

In the latest installment of this is-it-tongue-in-cheek-or-just-stupid series, Sylvester Stallone's Rambo has turned into a slightly less articulate but moodier Incredible Hulk, with biceps the size of hams and a permanent hangdog expression. He's living in southeast Asia these days on a boat, apparently subsisting in make-the-world-go-away poverty. He reluctantly ferries a bunch of naive missionaries upriver into "Apocalypse Now" territory, finds out later that they've never returned, and joins a nasty mercenary rescue mission to find them. Mass slaughter ensues. The free-fire-zone frenzy scenes are pretty well done, if you're into blood and dismemberment, but the real star of the show is what's supposed to be a leftover WW2 bomb that goes off like a plasma torpedo from the starship Voyager. (See, I could have said "starship Enterprise" there, if I weren't so edgy and alt-critic cool.)

He did it again. That says it all! The man can act!

I like it, for times when you just want to watch an action movie.

This is Stallone at his best. He plays his role very well in this movie.

this movie gets right to the point, which is to give Rambo a reason to put on his headband and cut down whole armies. blood and gore are mostly GCI, but you hardly notice with all the shaky cam and super fast sequences.

this folm is o.k, but there are some scenes that don't fit this storyline. but the ending is good

It was just sad to see Stallone in this film. While watching this movie, all I kept thinking of was how much I liked the first couple of 'Rambo' films, and how much fun they were to watch. I couldn't believe what a piece of junk this movie was and I wouldn't bother wasting my time seeing it if I were you, let alone buy it. I think a better title for this movie would have been 'SAVING PRIVATE GRANDPA RAMBO OF THE RINGS,' considering that the movie copies its battle scenes from 'Saving Private Ryan,' and the fact that Stallone is old, tired, yet still somehow manages to shoot his bow & arrow faster than 'Legolas the Elf' from the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy.

I just wanted to drop in and put in my 2 cents........this movie along with every other rambo movie stinks they are ridiculous in everyway......but this movie cuts the cake....hard,do not buy,skip it. skip everyone of them
