I just purchased this on 4K. I was hoping to add this to my digital collection, but the code for the digital copy wasn't included. This is very disappointing. The worst part is that I cant return it, because it's opened.

A fun movie. Do not go into it expecting an amazing story and a classic of cinema. What you get is a fun ride with humor, action, a lot of CGI, and entertainment. I enjoy this moive for what it is and recommend it along those lines. The picture quality is great on this disc. You get the Rock in 4k, and giant creatures. What more do you need? The sound is loud and all around you with the right system. It definitely shook my seat some.

From all the bad thing I heard about this movie, I was quite surprise it was actually pretty fun to watch. There was good action involved, and the special effects were good. The 3D effects were actually pretty good even the intro. One thing that was definitely bugging me was the bad acting of Naomie Harris, even when she tried to be funny it was bad acting period. This version comes with 2 Disc, 1 3D the other is the BD version. Overall this was a fun movie to watch with good 3D effects, for 3D fans it worth to have in your collection. Note: This film was viewed on a 2016 LG OLED (OLED65E6P) and Oppo UDP203.

Though not well received by critics, I thought I would take a chance on this based on the trailers. ( The STEELBOOK was a nice touch as well! ) People who dont like this movie just dont like action movies, and probably prefer movies like "My dinner with Andre", and "Chocolat", so I don't pay much attention to anything they have to say, anyway. It really had everything you need - Non stop action and the destruction you would expect in a monster film, great effects, great creatures and decent characters in general, and the villains get their obligatory comeuppance in the end. I reeeally liked this film!

You may remember rampage from the PS2 days - it honestly wasn't that great of a game - I enjoyed war of the monster better but regardless its essentially hybrid monsters fighting each other in the city and causing massive damage. Apparently someone thought taking that idea and putting into a film would work and shockingly it does. Rampage was actually an entertaining film with great effects and showdown moment between the hybrid monsters. I really like the 4k HDR version since the panning around the city and large building appear in great detail. Would definitely recommend!!!

If your a fan of giant monster movies, like Godzilla or Kong, this movie is for you! The story is a little lacking but it more than makes up in action and comedy! The Rock is great as always but supporting cast is a little flat. All that being said, this is a video game movie... The best video game movie! Rampage was one of my brother and mine favorite time killers. Little to no story jump into action, jump out. That's this movie, with funnies dust sprinkled all about. The steel book is a little bland but sleek on the shelf. Get it if your a old school monster/action fan. The funny is a bonus.

Good visuals, but the movie felt a bit flat to me. The 4k is done well. Monster type movies are usually in my wheel house. The cheesier the better. But this didn't quite do it for me.

If you loved the Ramage Arcade Game growing up, then this movie is for you, though it just doesn’t get the nostalgia running much beyond the title. Though the animals go on a destruction spree in the movie, it’s not that big of a deal and doesn’t last very long, and this version of Lizzie is a crocodile instead of a type of lizard like from the game. Sure, that might be a minor critique, but if you’re like me and watching it because of the video game then it’s major. Overall, the movie kept my attention, but it definitely wouldn’t do so for multiple viewings.

Was exactly what I wanted it to be and nothing more, nothing less. The 3D was really impressive in spots with lots of great depth and pop. Not surprising given how CGI-heavy the film is. The CG itself is incredibly strong; the monsters themselves look fantastic. The cast had great chemistry with one another - would love to see a sequel with all three of them returning. The action is also really spectacular throughout with the final 30 minutes being one of the best action sequences in recent memory, filled to the brim with hard-hitting directional audio and rollicking, room-rattling bass.

This turned out to be a pretty decent action film. I wouldn't say that it's one of The Rock's best films, but it's certainly not a waste of time. I originally wasn't going to check this movie out because of not being all that impressed by the movie trailer. However, my fiancee insisted that she really wanted to see this movie. I ended up buying it I wasn't disappointed, not to mention that I enjoyed playing the old Rampage games as a kid. But hey, this is my opinion. Overall not perfect, but a decent action film. Decent special effects, good action scenes, and some good humor.

I liked this movie. The picture will give a clue on the type of movie it will be. Dwayne Johnson does many types of movies - he is not type-cast. And I think that he pulls all of them off well. This plot is no less of a movie. If you like the "ROCK" then there is no reason not to watch this one. There is a lot of special effects in the movie - and especially at the end. But the effects are well done. I've already watched it twice to be sure I saw all the action, good even then.

And adaptation from a video game, and you can really tell. The plot is incredibly outlandish. However if you can get past that, the movie actually have some redeeming qualities. From a visual standpoint it’s one of the best movies of the decade. It makes the CGI with the real world elements in a way like you’ve never seen. Also a nice bonus if you’re at Chicago in, the city is featured immensely. I know the rock makes over the top action movies. But give this one a shot. You’ll at least have some fun.

I have to say I was going to watch this no matter what because i loved playing the video game when I was younger. The movie was decent. it has action, some humor, and decent performances by dwayne johnson and jeffrey dean morgan. The only small thing that could have been admitted from this movie that would have made it better is how they mutated ralph so he could fly. lizzie and george only grew bigger and weren't mutated or anything like that so why make the wolf fly? I only make this point because ralph the wolf was my favorite character to play as in the game.

It was better than that ridiculous Aquaman atleast. This movie is enjoyable if you take it for what it is...a mind-numbing popcorn flick. I liked it, and it looked good on 4k

It's pretty dumb and cartoonish plot and character wise, but the monster battles are fairly entertaining and the movie is not boring. Worth it if you have nothing else to do
