    I'm not sure why I'm getting a review given that the range hood STILL has not been installed. The last contact with BestBuy they gave me an install date of November 18th and this was more than two months ago. This was after they cancelled my April order of a cooktop in September and gave away our cooktop to someone else. All around this was the absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had from any retailer or contractor. Not a big fan of the "BestBuy" experience.

    We purchased the Samsung range hood vent from best buy and paid for the installation. Best buy hired a third party company who came to my home and did a poor job installing the range hood. They damaged my cabinet in the process of installation and I was told by best buy and Sedgwick (who handle the damage claim) that I would need to get with this third party company that THEY hired to get some type of resolution to my damage claim. Nobody wants to take responsibility and we (the customer) loses in the end for thinking that Best Buy and the people THEY hire for installation would be more professional.

    We were not actually able to use this vent a hood, since it was 1/8 to wide. It looked very nice.

    The first time the installer came out, the range hood was damaged in the box. It took months before a new hood was delivered and installed. The entire time, I had loose wires hanging out of the wall over my stove. Several times I got emails from Best Buy to make an appointment for the installation, and received confirmations after I did. The installer never showed up and customer service had no record of my appointment, even though I received confirmations! I will never make another purchase from Best Buy that requires installation. Never.

    Bought stove n under cabinet hood in sept. Show up end of nov with no hood. Then say backorder. I had to call n reschedule. Then they bring hood at 7am. I paid in sept for install. Delviery guy said i dont no nothing i am not calling you either take box or im taking it back. 930 someone calls we cant find hood. I said i have it. After numerous call fjnally showed up around 3. Horrible customer service Horrible delivery guys. Next time i will look elsewhere. Im not fighting with people that for 2 mths i paid for items i did not have,then have to fight for hours

    Been a month and half and still don’t have it. As far as Best Buy goes will never order another item from them. They have made 4 different appointments to get it delivered and installed , never called to let me know it did not come in. If It wasn’t for me calling I would never know. Why do they set up appointments when item is not in stock. Getting ready to cancel order

    I bought this, its still not hooked up. I was never told of any electrical boxes that needed to be installed. An electrician cancelled first appointment and I was not notified. On the second appointment is when i was told it was goingto cost $200.00 for electrical services. I was unprepared for this and didnt have $200.00 dollars. So here itcsits in my kitchen, taking up space, as I need an electrician to hook it up.

    Bought a new stainless steel hood. They installed it and the fan didn't work. They brought a new one and discovered the ground wire was never connected. Installed a new one and it has a dent. Called several times about it and no return calls. So we are stuck with a dented hood at retail price.
