Great Movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ratatouille was a great movie to watch. Our kids loved it and so did we. Overall, the movie is definitely a different story as I wondered how a movie about a rat would be entertaining. It has a very unique story but all in all very entertaining. If you have read any of my other reviews, you will once again be amazed by the animation specifically on a Blu Ray player. The clarity of the animation is so vivid it looks three dimensional. The only downside to the movie was most likely due to our kids age. At certain points of the movie, my kids started to lose interest as I think they didn't quite understand what was going on. But they still love watching it over and over so not too big of a concern.

Great Family Fun
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A cooking rat. As one who appreciates irony, I figured this was a movie I was NOT going to want to miss. Crafted by the same team who's brought us movies such as Cars, Toy Story, and The Incredibles (which I'm STILL waiting for on Bluray, I might add!), I knew the chances of being disappointed were slim to none. Boy, was I right! From the very intro to the movie, you can see Remy's story starting to build. His drive to become what he loves most is so strong, his rodent status is almost a non-issue to him- only humans persist in reminding him! As his friendship with Linguini progresses, you do start to wish the story would move a little faster, but at no time does it really drag. Ratatouille is a truly charming movie and one that I will no doubt watch again and again for some time (especially because of how much much my girlfriend loves it)!

Blu ray was meant for PIXAR !!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i fully enjoy PIXAR movies and proudly own all of the available pixar titles on Blu ray, and they are some of my favorites. all pixars look stellar on blu ray with their 1080p digital transfers, and buxtuous Master Audio. ratatouille is second to last on my least favorite pixar movies, i dont hate it i really like it, just not as much as all the others. the story is new and creative and a very fun story, i feel movie wise it is worth the money. and the picture and audio quality are absolutely stunning, disney truly makes the best blu rays like i always say. people like to say they dont notice but i do, there truyl is a difference with the huge difference in detail, and since this is pixar this is amazing !! buy it for fans !

There's a rat in the kitchen - But it's fun
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is just great! This is a tale of an energetic French rodent who loves to cook. Remy the rat(voiced by comedian Patton Oswalt) is educated and classy. He's crazy about cooking elegant dishes. His brother, Emile (Peter Sohn) and his daddy Django (Brian Dennehy) just hang out in the trash and don't at all approve of Remy's culinary ambitions and his behavior. After a terrible cooking accident, the rats are evicted and escape through the sewers. Remy is separated from his family. He ends up in Paris. Of course, he ends up near a kitchen. Where else? He sneaks in and works on some soup. Making it absolutely great. This is truly a fun-filled story that you won't want to miss. Highly recommended.

A Delightful Pixar Title!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I remember seeing the teaser trailer for Ratatouille back in 2006 and thinking that it looked, well, a little strange. However, I knew it was a Pixar movie, so no matter how strange it looked at the time it would certainly come through upon release. As it turns out, I was right. Ratatouille is simpler than some of Pixar's past releases and isn't quite as grandiose, but it doesn't have to be. It's just an hour and fifty minutes full of fun and delight with a dash of humor mixed in. The story is well-written, the characters are well-developed, and the animation shines as always. Pixar has come through again. Go see this movie - you won't be disappointed!

Ratatouille
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought the idea of watching a movie about a cooking rat with my daughter would have me totally disgusted, but it was completely the opposite. Disney always seems to soften the characters enough that you learn to love them. This is a great movie and has a message about persistence and going after your dreams even when everyone else thinks it is impossible. It was a delightful movie to see and I am anticpating watching it again with my daughter for the message and the laughs.

One of the best animated movies around!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ever since I bought a high def television, I've been a huge fan of animated/Pixar movies. The CGI on this film is simply amazing in 1080p. Once again, Pixar doesn't disappoint. The story concept seems a bit odd at first because it's a rat who aspires to be a master chef. I was a bit reluctant, but somehow it turns out to be creative genius from the makers of the film. That's one thing I've always liked about Pixar movies. The stories seem a bit out there (Toy Story, Cars, Monsters Inc., etc.) but it's that creative imagination that really brings the movies to life.

Another great Disney movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie is another great animated film from Pixar and Walt Disney studios. The story is original. Who would have thought a movie about a rat that loves good food would be so good. Pixar did it again, taking an original concept and making it fun and likable. The blu-ray quality made the animation even better than before. If you like animated movies (and even if you don't) this is a movie I recommend you add to your movie collection.

A Great Disney Movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disney came up up with yet another brilliant animated movie. I thought this movie was going to be another one of those cheesy happily ever after ending stories again but I was wrong. This movie was an adventure from start to finish. The characters were funny and I was impressed by the animation. The plot was good which brought a up a good message through out the movie "anyone can cook" which means anyone can become great. Also picture quality is amazing in bluray. I highly recommend this movie.

Good movie, good/decent extras
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We remember Walt Disney's quote about it all started with a mouse. Pixar must have thought of that when coming up with the idea for the film. Winner for Best Animated Film Oscar. It is a fun film. NOT the best of the Disney/Pixar films. I found it to have more laughs than Cars or A Bugs Life. Good picture quality of course. Good normal extras on the set. Good purchase for any Disney/Pixar fan of any age.

Excellent animation and script
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The movie has an original appeal. The plot and the story were intriguing and hilarious. The movie is one of the best animations I have ever seen. Enough diversity for both young and old alike. The glimpse into a french restaurant's cooking style and the chefs and cooks was also interesting. There are no negatives to this movie. The pace of the movie is fast and fun.

A joy from begining to end
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ratatouille is a modern marvel. Pixar is known for never screwing up a film and this one is no exception. This is their best film since "Toy Story". Each character is unique and this is really brought out by the wonderful voice acting. Each moment of cooking reminded me of how the best chefs in the world make us feel when we watch them create masterpieces. Remy is among those best chefs. His passions become your passions and by the end of the movie, you either want to go to a fancy restaurant or want join a culinary school. He immerses you in a more lively and artistic world of cooking that most people don't know about. Remember, "Anyone Can Cook"

Pixar at its best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.... and looking and sounding the best on 4K with Dolby Atmos. If you liked the film (and why wouldn't you? It's great!) then this is the version to own. Paris and its culinary scene never looked finer. Just don't watch this film on an empty stomach!

Most detailed rat I've ever seen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This film was great for so many reasons: the acting, the puffiness of the rats, animation, storyline, moral, and the overall fluidity of the plot in motion. This is a PIXAR film, enough said. The only thing that can top this is another PIXAR movie. They raise the bar in graphics.

A Disney Classic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first, but soon came to enjoy this movie as much as the other disney classics I have come to love over the years! The story of a boy who against all odds achieves the respect of his peers, critics and gains a career to which his life was meant for with the aid of a most unusual helper. I know you will love it as much as I do.

Cute Movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It actually was a cute, fast paced movie that showed that good wins out. Example Remy helping Linguini so that he could get what was rightfully his. Also shows that first impressions about things being bad can be wrong that all things have the possibility of being good. Cute for both kids and adults both my granddaughter and I enjoyed the movie.

Great Movie for Friends and Family
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The main character in this is Remy the rat. He lives in a family that is all about eating garbage(normally rats are). Remy, on the other hand, likes to cook. This story then takes off in to dramatic events and twists making it the perfect family movie. This is an amazing movie, and I would recommend it to everyone!
