I would normally not buy these but I was in a hurry and there they were. They are okay, but I normally buy Energizer or Duracell. I also use eco-friendly rechargeable batteries.

Good for smoke detectors; watch for sales

Every few years you need to replace them in all your smoke detectors, which can add up to some real dollars. These Rayovacs seem equal to Duracell and Engergizer, yet often go on sale priced much lower. I've had good luck restocking with these Rayovac 9Vs!
