I wanted a good gaming laptop mouse to play games on my laptop that was easy to take with me and didn't have cables. So this mouse popped up and when I received it, I was extremely surprised at how well it felt and performed. It is fast, accurate, and feels great during gaming. PROS Great weight distribution. Bluetooth or USB plug in for easy use. Great build quality. Very fast and accurate. Good button placement. Excellent battery life. CONS Side buttons are a bit "mushy" when compared to full sized Razer mice. As one can see, there are many more PROS than CONS (in my opinion). This mouse feels great in games and it is exactly what I was looking for in a laptop gaming mouse and a pretty solid price.

I was looking for a good wireless mouse for gaming on my laptop and one of the main features it had to have was Bluetooth. I had initially purchased the Logitech G603. But, had to return it since it was slightly too big, as it put pressure on my hand. (I had major surgery, long story) So, I came across the Razer Anteris. Looked it up, read some reviews, then decided to get it. Very solid mouse. Even thought it uses batteries, it wasn’t too heavy, fits just right for my hand and works well with a 2.4ghz dongle and Bluetooth. No issues at all with it. I’m able to change dpi setting with the push of a button. For the price, I really dig it. Too bad they couldn’t fit RGB on it

    Bluetooth Sucks

Compared to a Logitech Ultrathin, this one just won’t stay connected in Bluetooth. That goes for during continuous use and after Sleep. Continually have to delete and re-pair with the computer. Bought it to take the place of a noisy Logitech when using a laptop, but now use the Logitech once more. For me, this will just end up as another wireless mouse on a desktop.

Overall a great mouse, the only thing that bothered me was that the mouse is a little small for my hands. Although besides that this is a great purchase for someone not wanting to drop 100 dollars on a mouse.

Any of the razer mice are great and are nice to use. This one in particular is small and can be used anywhere and is easy to connect. I like it and will continue to use it.

Despite being smaller than expected, it still feels comfortable in the hand and still works despite being slammed multiple times.

The mouse looks nice, is well designed, and works over Bluetooth or a well hidden 2.4 GHz dongle. No complaints .

    Bluetooth Doesn't Work

I bought this because it operated both Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz, and hoped to use one mouse for the two laptops I carry. But after initial pairing the Bluetooth doesn't work (at all ever). So I'm back to carrying two mice. Proves that high price doesn't always mean high quality.

For a wireless mouse, it does its job but sometimes loses connection. The battery life is amazing though which is a major positive.

Dongle, Bluetooth, and Long Battery Life

    Posted .

I have been traveling a lot lately and bought a Razer RTX gaming laptop to keep me occupied after hours in the hotel. Anyway, I was using a Razer Orchi 2012 but it is no longer compatible with Synapse v3.0 and the battery life really is not that great. During my search for a new mouse, I stumble on the Razer Atheris. I was amazed on the claim of 200+ hours of continuous game play. I had the mouse for only three days and it still at 100% after 16 hrs of game play and another 24+ hours as a work mouse. Having the dongle is another plus for me. When I travel, I have my work laptop. I hate using the touch pad or cursor stick and would prefer a mouse. So, instead of bringing two mouse, I just put the dongle in my work computer and switch between Bluetooth and Dongle. I understand that the polling rate is stuck at 250 on Bluetooth but I am having no problems playing Destiny 2 or Borderlands 2 with a low poll rate. This is diffidently an upgrade to my Razer Orchi.

    Should have known better

I've seen plenty of people talking about Razer products being bad. But this mouse seemed to check the boxes I was looking for. I should have listened to the reviews. The driver software that comes with it is still considered Beta and of course it requires creating an account with Razer in order to use which is pretty bad. But at least it was up and working relatively easily. But then some of the setting I setup starting to stop working. Specifically I flipped the mouse wheel direction. But then it would start scrolling normally for a bit before switching back to my setting. Then it stopped responding all together. I disconnected and eventually got it back working again. But it eventually starting acting up again. Can't be sure if it's an issue with the Beta software or the hardware, but after paying $50 for this mouse, I didn't feel I should have to spend a whole bunch of time testing their product for them. So I returned it and got a Logitech m510. I was looking for alternatives to Logi but Razer definitely isn't it.
