I bought these headphones because the first pair I bought failed and the warranty process with Razer is a nightmare and takes WAY too long. Best Buy wouldn’t simply replace the broken ones even though they were only a week past the 30 day replacement period. Build quality isn’t the best and I’d have to say I’m much happier with the Corsair set I have for my PC. The foam cushion on the headband breaks down too easily also.

These are the worse headphones I have ever owned. I purchased these back in February of 2024. I have experienced bluetooth connection issues, audio issues, sound issues, and mic issues. I am so disappointed with my experience and do NOT recommend these at all.

I the headset, but it doesn't place nice with iOS and Mac OS and Zoom or Teams running on Mac OS. Guess I will have to dive into the instructions. Based on the packaging, I expected more of a plug and play experience.

Nowhere on the box or description does it mention you need to create an account on their website to even use the surround sound. Garbage company and software. Go with logitech instead.

Great sound quality, battery life, and feel. Only thing that makes this a 4 star and not 5 is that when I walk about 10 feet from my pc I will still hear audio but my microphone wont work at all.

excellent comfort. excellent sound quality and isolation. i havent gotten any complaints from others on voice calls about the microphone quality when i asked about it, so i assume it's pretty good. very intuitive to set up. it took me a few minutes to figure out how to plug the microphone in correctly and toggle it on/off, but i didnt look at the manual before trying it, so i'd say it was fairly intuitive overall. i havent run the batteries dry to determine the total battery life, but so far it lasts a full day and then some. the 2.4GHz dongle plugging it at a right angle instead of sticking straight out is appreciated, since my previous headset died from the USB plug breaking off of the dongle from being jostled too much. i greatly appreciate the versatility of being able to use the headset with 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm audio cable, since my previous headset only supported 2.4GHz and is now useless without a working dongle.

The mic does its job well for casual voice chat and in-game comms. It actually sounds quite different depending on whether I’m wired or wireless, although that could be the fault of my onboard audio. It’s much quieter and a bit thin when wireless but has a dead silent noise floor. I can boost the gain a ton and still get no noise even with a fan running. When it’s wired my voice sounds louder and more full but with some constant background noise beneath it. If you switch frequently you might have to accommodate for that in your settings. The sound of the headphones strikes me as a bit too warm. I find myself needing to turn the volume down when I listen to anything bass-heavy or it wears me out. They’re solidly “good enough” for a gaming headset though. There’s a Razer mobile app with a custom EQ you can tweak at least. It's hard to speak on build quality while it's new but there's a lot of plastic so I'd treat it with care. The buttons feel tactile and good to press. Swiveling earcups are nice but I find myself worrying about the extra moving parts it introduces at the joints. They clamp a bit tight and the manual recommends stretching it apart gently before wearing it to reduce stress on the headband, but it’s not an exercise that inspires confidence. I do appreciate the detachable mic though. As far as general usability goes the range is great, latency is low, and the battery life is amazing. It worked for me on Linux (Mint) out of the box, but if I leave the dongle plugged in while I boot Pulse doesn’t seem to bother to make my audio jacks usable for whatever reason. Also the 7.1 surround sound stuff is a Windows-only exe if you care about that. Other than that I tend to get stuck in bluetooth mode when I try to do stuff with the app on my phone, and can’t switch back to my PC until I turn bluetooth off on my phone to force a disconnect. Overall I’d say it gets the important stuff right but with a lot of minor nitpicks and quirks to deal with. It’s my first wireless headset and more than anything else the freedom that it provides has been great. At this price I just wish they could tighten up all the small details a little better.
