The Razer Barracuda X (2022) has completely won me over. Whether I’m gaming wirelessly or plugged in, the audio quality is consistently impressive—clear highs, solid mids, and surprisingly punchy bass for a headset this lightweight. The dual wireless and wired options make it incredibly versatile. I love being able to switch between my PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch without hassle. The USB-C dongle makes pairing fast and simple, and the wireless connection is rock-solid with zero noticeable lag. When I need to conserve battery or just want that wired connection, the included cable is super convenient. Comfort-wise, this headset is a dream. It's ultra-light, and I can wear it for hours without any pressure or fatigue. The detachable mic is a nice touch too—clear voice pickup, and easy to remove when I just want to listen to music or watch videos. Battery life is also fantastic, lasting me days between charges. Honestly, for the price and the features packed into this headset, it’s one of the best out there. Whether you're gaming, chatting, or just relaxing with music, the Barracuda X delivers every time.

I’ve been using the Razer Barracuda X 2022 Edition for a while now, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. This headset is comfortable, sounds great, and works on pretty much everything I use — PC, Mac, PlayStation, Switch, Steam Deck, and even my phone. The sound quality is excellent. The highs are clear, the mids are balanced, and the bass is satisfying without being overpowering. Games feel more immersive, music sounds crisp, and movies are just better with this headset on. Comfort-wise, these are fantastic. The ear cushions are soft and breathable, and even after hours of use, they don’t hurt or get too warm. I can wear them for long gaming sessions without any issues. Battery life is solid too. I can go through a full day of gaming or listening without needing to recharge. Pairing with different devices is super easy, and the connection is reliable. The detachable microphone works really well too — my friends on voice chat can hear me clearly, and it’s easy to set up. Honestly, for the price, this headset is a steal. It feels high-end without breaking the bank. A few minor things — the bass isn’t super heavy and occasionally there can be small connection hiccups — but I barely notice them. Overall, if you want a comfortable, great-sounding headset that works across multiple devices, the Barracuda X is a fantastic choice. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable headset without spending a fortune.

I love this headset! Great sound, comfortable fit around my ears that I can wear them for awhile and not get a headache! Battery life is great, I've only charged them twice since I bought them and I've used them while gaming for hours and I use them as headphones at the gym, I would definitely recommend these. Great headset for a decent price without having to drop a lot of money on it.

The Razer Barracuda X is widely praised as one of the best budget wireless gaming headsets, offering a lightweight and extremely comfortable design, clean and well‑balanced sound, and seamless multi‑platform support through its USB‑C dongle, making it ideal for PC, PS5, Switch, Steam Deck, and Android gaming. Reviewers consistently highlight its simplicity and reliability—no RGB, no bloated software, just plug‑and‑play performance with solid battery life and a clear detachable mic that’s perfectly fine for gaming and chat. While it doesn’t deliver booming bass or premium features found in pricier headsets, its comfort, versatility, and overall audio quality make it a standout value at around $99, especially for long sessions where lightweight gear really is important.

I bought the 2019 version and loved it, so I upgraded to the Razer Nari with haptic feed back and it was too much; too heavy and with a new baby too noise canceling. I came back to the Barracuda because it is light weight and comfortable for hours; I hardly even notice it most the time. Battery life it also fantastic I can go for a full day easily completely wireless. It is still very noise canceling, but its very comfortable to have one ear muff off to side to present in your surroundings. the PS5 dongle attachment means it takes up a plug slot, but its shape means you can still use the adjacent USB slot, so if you have every single plug spoken for on your console you probably want brand specific headset. speaking of dongles it comes with them all, so you can use this headset anywhere for anything comfortably. the Kraken is another good choice if you like Razer products with RGB and all the fancy bits, but the Barracuda will stay my head set as long as they sell them.

I’ve had the Razer Barracuda X wireless gaming headset for a little over three weeks, and for the price, I’m extremely satisfied. I picked up the black pair from my local Best Buy for $80, and they’ve been amazing for my PS5. Pairing with my PlayStation was seamless, and it connects instantly every time now. The headset does come with an aux cord which is a great backup for when I forget to charge, though the battery lasts impressively long. The headset is comfortable for large size heads with its soft headband and adjustability, making the headset comfortable to wear for hours. I have been using the headset to play mostly first-person shooter games, and the sound doesn’t disappoint, making it easy to pick up footsteps. Plus, the mics quality keeps my teammates happy. Overall, I’m loving this headset and definitely prefer it over my previous Astro A10 and Turtle Beach Stealth headset, which are in the same price range

This is my second pair of the Baracuda Model. The battery life is great. Sound quality is amazing and it doesn’t fit tight like most over ear headphones. As someone with ADHD that can make for an uncomfortable. I also hate how sometimes cheap headphones make weird noises when you put them in, these are super nice. I love the detachable mic so that I can take it with me on trips to my switch and cell phone.

Great build, design, and audio quality. For $75 it is not a bad gaming headset. There are two things you should be aware of. First, the dongle for 2.4GHZ connection is a T-shaped USBC dongle. It's odd shape may not work very well depending on your setup. For example, if you are using the dongle with a gaming laptop, it could block another port on your computer or be next to the laptops heat exhaust. Second, the headset can disconnect randomly (especially with bluetooth). You will have to download the razer audio app on your phone and disable the headsets auto sleep feature. Aside from those two small things, it really is a good headset for the price.

As an avid gamer and music enthusiast, I recently decided to upgrade my audio gear and opted for the Pink Razer Headphones. Right out of the box, I was impressed by their sleek design and vibrant pink color. As a lover of all things pink, these headphones were an instant eye-catcher for me. Comfort: The first thing that struck me was the comfort level. The ear cups are generously padded and fit snugly around my ears, providing a pleasant listening experience even during extended gaming sessions or music marathons. The adjustable headband also ensures a perfect fit for any head size, reducing any discomfort from pressure points. Sound Quality: The sound quality of these headphones is exceptional. The 40mm drivers deliver crisp and clear audio across the entire frequency range, whether I'm enjoying my favorite tunes or immersing myself in the virtual world of gaming. The bass response is surprisingly punchy for a pair of headphones in this price range, enhancing the overall audio experience. Noise Isolation: The passive noise isolation of the Pink Razer Headphones is impressive. It effectively blocks out ambient noises, allowing me to focus entirely on my game or music without any distractions. It's particularly useful when gaming in loud environments, as it helps me stay fully engaged and aware of in-game audio cues. Build Quality: The headphones feel sturdy and well-built, indicating that they can withstand daily use and a bit of rough handling. The durable construction gives me confidence that they will last for a long time with proper care. Additionally, the braided cable adds an extra layer of protection against wear and tear. Microphone: The built-in microphone does its job well, providing clear voice transmission during gaming sessions and voice calls. However, I noticed that the microphone is non-removable, which might be a drawback for those who prefer a detachable mic. Connectivity and Controls: The headphones come with a standard 3.5mm audio jack, making them compatible with a wide range of devices, including PCs, laptops, smartphones, and gaming consoles. The inline controls are intuitive and allow me to adjust the volume and mute the microphone quickly. Final Thoughts: Overall, the Pink Razer Headphones are a stylish and functional choice for gamers and music lovers alike. Their attractive design, comfortable fit, and excellent audio quality make them a fantastic option in this price range. While the non-removable microphone and lack of wireless capabilities might be minor drawbacks for some, these headphones are still a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable and aesthetically pleasing audio accessory.

Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Review: I recently purchased the Razer Barracuda X 2022 Edition Wireless Gaming Headset in Quartz for my 7-year-old daughter, and I must say it has been an excellent choice. It delivers clear and crisp sound, which is crucial for games that rely on audio cues. Wireless Convenience: Being wireless, it provides freedom of movement without getting tangled in cords. Plus, it's compatible with a variety of platforms, which is a big plus. Easy Controls: The on-ear controls are straightforward, making it easy for my daughter to adjust the volume or mute the microphone when needed. Microphone: The microphone is clear and does a great job of picking up her voice during in-game chat sessions. Durability: Despite being designed for gaming, it's sturdy and can withstand some rough handling, which is a common occurrence with young gamers. It strikes a balance between functionality, style, and comfort, making it an excellent choice for young gamers. I've been using the headset for around a year now and I have nothing but freat things to say about them. First of all audio quality, they simply sound great, and despite not being super loud, they are loud enough for me. Secondly the build quality, despite being made almost entirely out of plastic, the plastic the use feels high quality and premium. I also love the fact that ear cups are not made of cheap/fake leather that wears over time, they are made out of a very comfortable fabric. Third, the battery life is incredible, I can easily get almosy 2 weeks of battery. Finally, the range of the bluetooth is insane. I can comfortably walk around my house while still talking to my friends. Would 100% recommend these to any one not wanting to spend a fortune on a gaming headset.

I bought these several months ago and have used them several times a week when gaming, chatting on Discord, and watching movies. One of my favorite parts about this headset is the ability to put it on and walk around the house without being restricted by cables. The range is decent! Also, the sound quality is nice and crisp. For a gaming headset, I can hear everything I need to without any crackling or other strange noises. Bluetooth headphones don’t have the best rep but these are really good! They’re also comfortable and not too heavy on the head. So, they can worn for a several hours without causing irritation. Battery life is also great. I have to charge my controller more often than I have to charge this headset. Overall, very happy with this compared to aome previous headsets I’ve had! Also, pleased because it’s my first bluetooth gaming headset and it hasn’t disappointed yet!

I’ve been really enjoying the headphone so much. The wireless connection is super reliable across my PC, Switch, and even my phone. The sound is crisp with nice bass, and the headset feels light enough to wear for hours. The Mercury color looks clean and modern, and the battery life hasn’t let me down. It’s become my go-to headset for both gaming and casual listening.

Great and lightweight but good noise canceling. I prefer a strong bass sound but these are more or less and pretty equal sound. Mic does not work if attached to phone, but works perfectly fine on pc and is good quality. Sometimes however they randomly disconnect and turn off while using sound on PC.

Despite their "budget-friendly" price, they have a surprisingly large sound profile with clear highs, balanced mids, and decent bass, making them great for gaming, especially visual/story games with lots of sfx and background noise, and music. The design is pretty minimalist, and the ear cups are comfortable enough for long gaming sessions because of the soft padding and adjustable headband, the padding is also cushioned cloth and not pleathery so it won't flake off after constant usage. Super lightweight making them easy to and wear without causing discomfort even over extended periods. There is a little bit of setup for the headphones but it's very easy and there's a guide (with photos) in the box

The best things about this headset is the battery life and the sound quality. Both are as good as they claim. Requiring between devices is also as seamless as they claim albeit a bit confusing at first, mostly because initially pairing the headphones to the USB dongle was a 2 hour headache. If the USB port on your PC or other device isn't getting enough power, it WILL. NOT. PAIR. Also the first time you connect to a PC every time it automatically halves the volume, fixed by turning volume all the way down then back up on the device, not the headphones. Otherwise, all functions work as they claim and it's a fantastic headset for the price. If you are looking for a lightweight pair, these are probably the lightest I've ever worn as well, but the ear cups are not breathable at all so be wary of using for longer periods. Also the adhesive for the cushion on the headband sucks, but easily fixable if it comes off.
