They worked fine for about a year. The signal then started to cut off here and there. Eventually they stopped working and now they keep disconnecting every second. Sadly, this brand for headset will not be my go to.

DO NOT BUY THIS IF ARE A WINDOWS 10 USER AND YOU NEED A MICROPHONE FOR RECORDING OR VOIP YES I DID USE CAPS IN THE TITLE AND THE INTRO TO THIS REVIEW! Razer does not provide a driver for this product, relying on the built-in Microsoft one. The driver does not have Microphone Boost. It's simply too quiet to be of any use in a VOIP/Teams/Zoom meeting. I want to like this headset - it's wireless and it works on all of the platforms that I own; it's comfortable and easily broken in; it's lightweight; it doesn't have noise cancel but the cups do a good job keeping it quiet. But sadly, the failure of the microphone utterly kills it and pushes it to a 0/10 for me. Sign.

Excellent quality, love razer products. Setup was a bit wonky for getting 7.1 surround sound. But it's plug an play for the most part!

This pair of Razer Barracuda X wireless headphones are an awesome value. I love their simplicity. They are so easy to use with the included wireless USB C dongle. I’ve been using them exclusively with the Nintendo Switch for games and my iPad Pro for gaming also and movie watching. You just plug in the adapter to the device you will be using your headphones with and Voila! No drivers to install, no software to install, easy plug and play. I was honestly surprised that my iPad worked with them. There is a mic mute button, volume rocker and power button all on the left ear cup. The microphone can be disconnected if you don’t plan on using it. They also come with a usb c to usb a cable so that you can use it with your PC , PS4, PS5, almost anything with a USB port. And a 3.5mm cable also so that you can plug it into your Xbox controller or any headphone jack. The headphones are compatible with just about any device you want to use it with. To me, this is the best thing about them. Sound quality is pretty good, they wont stand out or sound better than some more expensive headphones. but to my ears.. they are perfectly fine and serviceable. Audiophiles wont be impressed by these, but for gaming and casual movie watching and music listening they are good. To my ears, they have good bass and clear highs and mids. When playing competitive shooters, I was able to tell what direction gunfire and footsteps were coming from with these. Explosions and shooting sound immersive and booming, especially at higher volumes. They are comfortable for long gaming sessions and battery life is excellent. The pads are soft and the headband is very strong and flexible. Microphone quality is also good. My friends had no complains about volume when chatting. Would I recommend these to a friend? Yes! They are compatible with just about every game console, phone, computer and even iPad and Android Tablets. This is the best thing about them. The fact that you don’t need to fiddle with software to make these work is awesome.
