Unfortunately her laptop doesn't provide enough power out of the ports for the lights but it's still very cute and functional!

Nice stand, but not a powered USB hub

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a nice, sturdy metal stand, but the thing to know here is that it is NOT a powered USB hub, so it must be connected (via usb) to another device (such as a PC or game console) that is powered-on and active. If that device is in "rest" mode, then the stand will not power on. This stand was on promo and included free with the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro wireless headset that I bought. However, had it not been included, I would not pay $70 for a stand with a passive USB hub.

I thought it might just be drawing too much power through the USB port, so I bought an external USB hub with its own AC adapter, and the issue persisted. Also had the same issue with the Kraken Kitty Headset. Razer quality is slipping for sure. Probably best to skip this item for now.

The Chroma lights blend nicely with the rest of the Razer line and the USB hub is convenient. It does take up a bit of room with it 5" base so plan accordingly.

Lacking USB-C connectivity - time to update.

Easy to use and love the lights. Was difficult to figure out how to change them through IOS, but I looked online and found a third party app.

Comes with two included USB ports and an audio jack to route audio directly from the stand if you would like to. The Razer Chroma RGB is awesome too!

The Chroma technology pues well with my other Razer products and it is perfect for my Razer headset. The only thing I’ve noticed is that when the PC is idle it tens to not be in sync with the other Chroma devices.
