Ok mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The scroll wheel has a defect. It goes bad after some use, sometimes it's bad straight out of the box. If you're lucky and it works it's a nice mouse. But beware of the scroll wheel going bad, if you think it's acting up it definitely is going out.

It’s good.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it on sale for $100 and it worked great up until the return policy ended. The mouse abruptly stopped moving with the dongle and would sometimes disconnect for no reason. No amount of reinstalling drivers fixed the issue. I’ve been using it with the cable instead of wirelessly and have had no issues so far so while it’s good, I can’t recommend it with the issues I’ve had. If you can get it on sale, I would just check for any issues and exchange it if you have any.

Mouse wheel broken after a month
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really liking this mouse up until the mouse wheel completely stopped working. It has these stupid left and right clicks with the mouse wheel that after a month would make me randomly switch weapons in MW2. After 2 months the mouse wheel completely stopped working, couldn't scroll or click anything. I luckily got it when it was on sale for $60 but for $170 I would not recommend this mouse.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for my son with a few other razer products and he fell in love. The way you can customize all the lights in just the mouse is great.

Razer - Basilisk Ultimate Wireless Optical
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure if I got a bad apple, but the "Razer - Basilisk Ultimate Wireless Optical with HyperSpeed Technology and Charging Dock Gaming Mouse - Black" just kept losing connection or something. We tried it on 3 different computers with the same result. Mid gaming you couldn't do anything for 3 to 5 seconds, no clicks no moving. Had to take it back and went with a different barnd. Also to place this on the charging dock was very finicky.

Overly Expensive and Premium Luxury
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend buying it below $70 like 110%, but definitely not recommend buying it at the original price like 200%. Overall a good, fine mouse in every way. But it's not worth almost two hundred for the price, not only that the mouse has many quality issues with reviews on the web (my left button has slight horizontal movement, which shouldn't be the case for a $170 item) , and more mice around $70 are comparable to it. Like a diamond, we all know it shouldn't be expensive, but there is only a premium.

Great Feel, disappointing performance
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how the mouse feels in my hand, it's very comfortable. Sadly it doesn't like to charge on the charger, or operate wirelessly, so I have to keep it wired. I paid too much for a mouse that doesn't live up to it's price tag.

Great mouse - tune it to extend battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mouse - easily tunable to match your use/play style and more comfortable than any of the other Razer mouses I have used. Only suggestion would be to keep lights at 50% or less and set to go dark after a few seconds of non-use in order to extend battery life as battery will last less than 2 days at 75%+ light intensity and lights only going dim after 10 minutes of use.

Good feeling mouse, battery could be improved.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a wired Razer Deathadder. Accurate mouse, feels good in the hand, Buttons are tactile and feels good when clicked. The scroll click took a bit of trial and error, feels very loose and hard to click down onto it when the setting is too loose which is unfortunate because the loose scroll is a very nice feeling. The battery life is a little low in my opinion. It drains down to about 20% on the 3rd day of light-medium use (few hours a day for regular web browsing). I'll have to adjust the light and sleep settings and see if that improves the battery life.
