Bought this as a Cyber Monday deal, tested it out as soon as I got home and discovered the left mouse button was not working. I tried on a Linux desktop and a Windows laptop and it was unresponsive on both. I tried using the wireless dongle and plugging it in directly. After 30 minutes sitting to the side while I googled to see if it had an easy solution, the left button started working, but only for about 2 minutes, then it continued being totally unresponsive. I've had Razer mice and keyboards for well over a decade without problems (at least for a couple of years), and I understand that products will sometimes have defects, but the primary mouse button not working right out of the (undamaged) box indicates a real problem in QA.

This is my second basilisk ultimate, the first one was RMA'd due to the same issue I'm experiencing now. The scroll wheel often skips scrolls or delays them so switching weapons/scrolling webpages can be annoying. I've had to change my play style to remove scrolling as an input. Also my synapse custom lift off setting will often reset and will require a synapse software restart to get working again. Razer customer support also treats you like an idiot but I suppose thats only fair.

I really like this mouse, it’s beautiful and the quality is very nice. Clicking feel and sound is so good.

The scroll wheel will fail it is just a matter of time. Search basilisk ultimate scroll wheel issues and you'll see numerous accounts on reddit, razer's site, etc. They are aware of the widespread issue but the warranty is short enough that most people will be stuck with their defective product. Avoid this mouse.

This mouse is awesome besides for its Wide veriety of Charging issues it has. The one I had was It would be on the charger and it would go down by 1% and back up by 1% and it kept doing it. Causing me to charge it via Provided cable

Charging dock broke after 6 months. Mouse itself is okay but the battery life is an embarassment, around 2 days, when the lighting is enabled. Horrible value for money, virtually any other mouse I've ever used has outperformed this. Very disappointed I ever gave Razer a try. Software is also a nightmare.

The mouse would constantly stutter and disconect. After switching to a new mouse (Corsair), I havent been having any issues. Good luck with Razer, never have I ever had a good experience.

The wheel encoder failed after only 4 months of use, making scrolling anywhere a pain. This isn't even the first time razer mice have failed on me. Spend your money elsewhere especially at this price point, razer is incompetent at mice making
