Not the typical razer mice. This one is much more convenient then anything theyve ever made in the past. As usual with all razer mice, it looks awesome. Except this one matches the looks with its performance. And the price bestbuy has it for right now its a steal. This works great for MOBA, FPS, and even MMOs.

The precision you normally expect from Razer gone wireless! The LEDs make your clicks more accurate landing your crosshair on every enemy in-game with bonus damage! My wife is new to PC gaming but she doesn't act like a noob when she is sporting this baby! I've been playing PC for most of my life and her KDR is already higher than mine!

Title: The Razer Basilisk Ultimate: Precision and Performance Redefined Rating: ★★★★ (4/5) When it comes to gaming mice, Razer has always been a household name synonymous with cutting-edge technology and exceptional performance. The Razer Basilisk Ultimate, with its wireless prowess, HyperSpeed technology, and included charging dock, is no exception. As a dedicated gamer, I've had the pleasure of using this mouse extensively, and I can confidently say that it has elevated my gaming experience to new heights. Design and Build Quality: ★★★★★ (5/5) The Basilisk Ultimate boasts a sleek and ergonomic design that fits comfortably in the hand. The matte black finish not only looks premium but also provides a non-slip grip during intense gaming sessions. The customizable scroll wheel resistance and the 11 programmable buttons are strategically placed for quick and intuitive access, giving gamers an edge in any genre. Performance: ★★★★★ (5/5) The key highlight of the Basilisk Ultimate is its HyperSpeed wireless technology, which provides a lag-free gaming experience that's on par with wired mice. This technology, combined with Razer's Focus+ Optical Sensor with 20,000 DPI, ensures pixel-precise accuracy and swift tracking even in the most demanding games. The optical switches provide a satisfying click that's both responsive and durable, promising a long lifespan for hardcore gamers. Charging Dock: ★★★★★ (5/5) The inclusion of the charging dock is a game-changer. Not only does it make recharging the mouse effortless, but it also serves as an attractive display piece when you're not using it. The dock's RGB lighting syncs with the mouse's customizable Chroma RGB, allowing you to create a stunning visual setup that matches your gaming rig's aesthetics. Software and Customization: ★★★★★ (5/5) Razer's Synapse 3 software lets you unleash the full potential of the Basilisk Ultimate. You can customize button assignments, tweak sensitivity settings, and create multiple profiles for different games. The RGB lighting options are virtually limitless, allowing you to synchronize the mouse's lighting with other Razer peripherals for a visually immersive gaming experience. Battery Life: ★★★★☆ (4/5) With up to 100 hours of battery life on a single charge, the Basilisk Ultimate will keep you gaming for days. However, if you're a hardcore gamer who plays for extended periods, you might need to recharge it more frequently. Thankfully, the included charging dock makes this a breeze, ensuring you're always ready for action. Conclusion: The Razer Basilisk Ultimate is an outstanding gaming mouse that combines premium design, top-tier performance, and innovative wireless technology. Whether you're a competitive esports player or a casual gamer, this mouse will undoubtedly elevate your gaming experience. While the price may be on the higher side, the Basilisk Ultimate's features, build quality, and wireless capabilities make it a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about gaming. It's not just a mouse; it's a game-changer. If you're looking for the best in class, the Razer Basilisk Ultimate with HyperSpeed technology and charging dock is a top contender that will not disappoint. It's a testament to Razer's commitment to pushing the boundaries of gaming peripherals, and I can't recommend it enough. Only downside. The warning for low battery is not enough time for a heads up. Also a bit pricey.

This mouse is pretty great. I used a mamba wireless which didn’t last. This is more comfortable to hold and the docking station for charging is very convenient. I am hoping this one lasts past a couple of years.

General Review of the Basilisk Ultimate

The Razer Basilisk Ultimate is excellent gaming mouse. Before this mouse I used the Logitech G502 Hero and so I had the choice of either this or the G502 Lightspeed. And since you're reading this review you know what I chose G502 Vs Basilisk Ultimate: Compared to the G502 the shape, ergonomics, and components are almost completely identical, (of course with it being wireless). The G502 and Basilisk have a max dpi of nearly 20,000 I believe but you will most likely not need for it to be that high. The only thing the Basilisk doesn't have is the Infinity Scroll but that was something I didn't mind giving up. And to even account for this the Basilisk has a resistance slider for the scroll wheel which allowed me to tune the scroll wheel to almost match the tactility of the G502's scroll wheel. The Basilisk also has even more RGB than the G502, however you can turn it off if that is not your thing. Complaints: Because this is a Razer product you will need to download Razer's Synapse software in order to utilize the Basilisk's full features such as RGB customization and dpi adjustment. Although I have not had any major issues with Synapse and the mouse, one thing to note is that the software will need to be opened at least once in order for your mouse's profile to take effect once you turn on your computer. Software asside the mouse itself has a few small mishaps. The primary click button does tend to slide from side to side but doesn't really affect the performance at all. Also another thing to note is that the mouse has a specific coating on it that really attracts finger prints, smudges, and sweat prints, so be prepared to wipe it down every now and then if you have sweaty hands such as me when you play games. Pros: The key feature of this mouse is that it is wireless, and from what I have played I have not noticed any latency or connection issues. Another bonus is that it is really comfortable to hold. And as I said earlier, coming from the G502 I felt instantly at home. The battery life on this mouse is also pretty well, I can go as for as 2-3 days without charging, of course this depends on how much you use it. The included dock is also pretty nice. With stock RGB the dock will let you know when the mouse is about to die by flashing red, and when charging will let you know the batter by specific colors which is just a really nice touch. Overall: If you are looking for a new wireless mouse then the Basilisk Ultimate is a great choice. Especially if you are looking for a size similar to Logitechs G502. While the mouse is a bit expensive at msrp, if you can find this mouse at a below $100 sale then I say go for it.

The mouse itself is great, a little heavy. But the problem I have with it isn't the weight, it's the fact that when you try to click the scroll wheel, it also moves the scroll wheel which is absolutely infuriating in games like CSGO where it will just switch whatever weapon youre holding to a knife and you get killed instantly. And the scroll wheel is so overly sensitive, any slight touch of the scroll wheel will make it scroll, and thats with the resistance turned ALL THE WAY UP. I bought this thing on clearance and I think I know why it was on clearance now. Buyers remorse to the max.

Amazing mouse, super lightweight and accurate. Unfortunately the charing dock is really unstable at being able to change the mouse. Even if you try docking gently you have to try multiple times to get it to charge.

I finally broke down after finding this on sale at a price comparable with the G502 lightspeed. I am coming from the MX Master Series as I am more into productivity (I am an IT professional) and occasional games, but got this for gaming. Pros: Very comfortable when gaming, more like an extension of my hand. I immediately noticed an improvement on my gaming results. I like the look and feel of the mouse overall. The charging dock makes it more like art on my desk. Love the RGB options. The software is great and super customizable. Weight is great (Way lighter than my MX Master 2s, but they aren't really comparable). When looking at reviews I saw some complaints about the optical switches, but honestly I like the feel of these over the full mechanical as I want quick clicks, so the lighter touch reduces fatigue. Plus no double clicks. Cons: No ultimate scroll like Logitech. I use that ALL the time. I also didn't like the plastic scroll wheel. Feels cheap after coming from Logi. For something that retails for almost $170, I expect premium everything. The price would be a deal breaker for me at full price, fortunately I got a Black Friday deal from Best Buy! Summary: Its really a nice upgrade for gaming. I probably wont use it for productivity. I would recommend if you get a good sale price.

I wanted a comfortable mouse for work and gaming, and the Basilisk Ult does it for me. Yeah, it looks awesome, but there's more. The ergonomic shape feels comfortable in my hand for relaxed claw grip, even for fingertip grip. The thumb rest is a must. The mouse is big and relatively heavy (105 g), but I like that, I have medium size hands and I can easily lift the mouse in-game. The buttons feel snappy and premium, as well as the texture. The scroll wheel is prominent and the sideclicks on the scroll wheel come in handy for work. The charging dock is practical, I use the mouse for 14-16 hours a day and so far the battery has lasted 2-3 days with static RGB on without recharging, then I dock it overnight or whenever I'm not using it and leave it to charge. The sensor is flawless, I must say that the DPI options are exorbitant, I wonder who goes beyond 10k. The clutch gives you extra aim control for when you wanna laser your opponents. And, you can customize button action in Synapse, even the DPI buttons. I give 4 stars because it's 2021 and the Basilisk Ult is supposed to be one of Razer flagship mice, still it uses a microUSB connector, it's not supported for Razer latest single usb dongle multidevice connection despite having Hyperspeed tech, and the competition has Qi-charging options, so you can charge your mouse in the same wireless charging station as your phone or earbuds, for example. Besides that, the cluctch/side paddle could be a bit longer and sometimes the mouse takes a couple of seconds to wake up when suspended. Make no mistake, the mouse itself is great, but it's not so up to date as other mice in the market. Still, I chose the Basilisk Ult over the rest of Razer mice and the Basilisk direct competition that include some of the features I the Basilisk lacks, because it is super comfortable, looks awesome, it has a very useful button selection and Razer's tech is reliable.
