I nursed an old Logitech G9 as long as I could, it finally gave up the ghost. I decided on the Basilisk and couldn’t be more surprised at what seems like an improved accuracy in shooter games. I used weights in the G9 - it was twice as heavy and I worried about the Razer being too light. It took a little getting used to but now I’m thinking the lighter mouse is possibly the way to go. If it lasts as long as the G9 I think I have a new favorite.

Bought this Razer to replace a high end Logitech gaming mouse that was several years old. Was hard to not get a replacement Logi since that mouse was so good to me. But this Razer has really been an obvious improvement. From responsiveness to options. For being a Black Friday early sale, this was a great buy!

I switched to the Razer Basilisk V2 as a replacement for TWO FAILED Logitech G502 series mice. The first was the G502 Proteus Spectrum developed the double click issue after 3 months. Logitech replaced this first mouse with a G502 Hero which developed the same double click issue after 9 months. Razer developed its own optical switches with the V2 series. The Razer Synapse 3 software is also much more responsive compared to Logitech's G Hub.

Really good mouse! All of my Logitech gaming mice have had this weird issue where after a while, the material will start to fade where my fingers rest. The plastic would feel very weird around that area. This mouse doesn't have that issue. Not only that, but this one feels much nicer to use in my opinion. The build quality is great and the Razor software is okay to use.

Very lightweight easy to use and doesn’t make the hands sweat like traditional mouses.

Comfortable to use for long periods of time. Very easy to setup and customize colors.

Very responsive and great for larger hands. The optional paddle on the side has been great for FPS games.

Amazing mouse! Love it more than the g502, the rubber grips and scroll wheel are awesome.

My first mouse had a messed up wheel and this mouse doesn’t have that problem and has a thumb rest

The Razer Basilisk V2 is an excellent mouse for FPS games. Its sensor performance is outstanding and its click latency is very low. The mouse feels comfortable to use, especially with a claw or palm grip, although people with smaller hands might have trouble reaching the sniper button. It also isn't the lightest mouse, but the cable is very lightweight and doesn't keep kinks, which is great.

I love this mouse, it feels amazing on hand, its so comfortable.
