Don't get me wrong. I like this mouse. It works well straight out of the box It doesn't have an overwhelming number of buttons that I don't need. My only issue is that it is a little large for my hand. I can't reach all of the buttons easily without repositioning. I don't know if it would be better if it was shorter or if the arch wasn't as pronounced. Either one would likely get my fingers to where they needed to be. Other than that I have no complaints.

A great Gaming Mouse!!! A budget mouse will all the bells as whistles the Basilisk Ultimate offers barring the wireless capabilities and $100 less. It has a nice weight to it and the cable does not bind or drag on the mouse matt. This mouse conforms to your hand wonderfully, as long as you don't have overly large hands. The thumb shelf is great, PTFE feet glide with ease, The buttons are clicky and responsive and feel great. NO mis-inputs or midclicks from this mouse. So many buttons to custom map what ever you would like with the Razer Synapse program! The additional RGB under glow was a great aesthetic upgrade. The ability to map a button to manually change between the 2 scroll modes is very nice to go from "Game mode" to "productivity mode". The auto function of this feature is so-so and only kicks into the free scroll mode after a generous amount of scrolling. I would recommend to do as I did and map it to a button. Unlike the Ultimate and V2 versions the stiffer scroll mode is not as stiff as what the previous versions offers with the manual adjustment. For me the stiffer scroll mode is not definitive enough for me and my gaming but the user of this mouse has no complaints. For $70 you cant get a better mouse from Razer This was bought as a gift to upgrade a family member from the V2 and they love it!

This mouse is comfortable, lightweight, & easy on the eyes. While it is a wired mouse, the cord is flexible so it doesn’t tug or interfere with motion. The braided cord and rgb lighting give it a premium feel. Overall a solid option if you don’t want to dish out $100+ on a mouse.

This is a great mouse. I'm a Razer hardware boy from way back and this has been been no exception to that rule. It's been an awesome performer since I got it and I use my mouse for at least eight hours every day and usually a lot more than that when I'm gaming or working. It's hefty (even for a corded mouse) and I like mice with a bit of heft to them. It helps me keep slow twitch muscles under control while I'm gaming. It also provides a tactical advantage during gaming sessions with the adjustable optical sensor, onboard profiling, and fast button switches that I've come to expect and love about Razer mice and keyboards. In the every day: the mouse tracks perfectly, no jitter, no jolts, and the RGB looks amazing. I'm also happy that I can use the mouse without Razer's software installed though as that is a little bit resource intensive. Granted, it's not as easy to program the RGB (I have to use a third part piece of software), but in the end, I'd rather have color fading RGB than a resource hog. If you catch it on sale or at a reduced price, grab one. Or just grab one at full price. Either way, you won't regret it. :)

It's a very comfortable mouse and it works great. The rgb gives it a nice touch and the extra buttons for sensitivity and letting the scroll wheel roll free are handy.

I got this mouse soon after getting the equivalent Logi...at the angle I was using it seemed to fit my hand better. The mouse itself it lighter than the Logi as claimed, but is not as featured, but I would say I like the function just as good and the lighting options are better. The Cortex software is interesting, and I like the reporting I get, plus the in-game. I have had problems with the Synapse software conflicting with something...I suspect Windows. I got this on sale, which to me made it a hell of a value.

The price was competitive (same as on Amazon), build quality seems decent, ergonomics are fine. Tactility of button presses is distinct and crisp. Tracking seems smooth enough. I like the RGB. The number of buttons is not as excessive as on some other mice. It's lightweight - it admittedly doesn't have removable weights like my older mice, but truthfully, that's not really a problem for me and my particular gaming applications. I prefer wired mice due to not having to worry about batteries - if I need longer distance/reach between the motherboard and the mouse, I just use an extension cable. Matches up well with my Razer keyboard. Note: this mouse seems optimized for right-handed users (I'm not a lefty, so that's fine by me).

The Razer Basilisk V3 has been an excellent mouse for both productivity and gaming. It's comfortable to use for long periods, the sensor is accurate, and the programmable buttons are very useful. The Smart Scroll Wheel is one of my favorite features because it makes navigating documents and web pages much easier. The build quality feels premium, and the customization options are impressive. Overall, it's a reliable and versatile mouse that performs well in every situation.

Went in-store to feel different mice in my hand and this was the one that felt the most ergonomic. Button layout is great and quick. Though it is very lightweight, I find it nice to drag across a pad. Love that you can customize so much about this with its lighting and also DPS settings. I was a former Roccat user and those are pretty decent as well but I had to give Razer another chance since the fit was perfect for me.

I’ve been really impressed with the Razer Basilisk V3. The mouse feels solid and comfortable in my hand, even during long gaming sessions. The sensor is extremely accurate, and the customizable buttons are a huge plus for both gaming and everyday use. The Chroma RGB lighting looks amazing and adds a nice aesthetic without being distracting. Overall, it’s a high-quality, responsive mouse that’s absolutely worth the purchase.

This mouse has been blowing my mind since I got it. I come from the bluetooth Basilisk x Hyperspeed and Corsair M65 Elite wired, and mouse has beaten them in all areas. It’s lightweight, ergonomic so comfortable to hold, has more than enough buttons to satisfy, and the RGB is beautiful. It is lighter than the M65, so I’ve caught myself swiping wayyy too much since I’m used to a heavy mouse, but my hand/wrist isn’t cramping after a few hours of use plus it’s easy to get used to. I’d definitely recommend this mouse for anyone who wants a lightweight, versatile gaming mouse that looks great and doesn’t break the bank!

I purchased this Razer mouse as a replacement for my SteelSeries Rival 600, which began experiencing intermittent issues within the first year. While SteelSeries support helped resolve the problem by reinstalling their SteelSeries GG software (it’s functioning again for now), I decided to try something new. Right out of the box, the Razer mouse impressed me with its ergonomic design and premium feel. One standout feature is the scroll wheel, which includes a convenient button to toggle between smooth and ratcheted scrolling (my SteelSeries Rival 600 mouse does not have this feature). Although I use this mouse primarily for work rather than gaming, it delivers excellent performance and comfort throughout the day. At just $40 on sale, it was an incredible value.

The Razer Basilisk V3 is honestly one of the best gaming mice I’ve used. The optical switches feel super responsive, the scroll wheel is smooth, and the customizable buttons make it perfect for FPS games. The Chroma RGB lighting looks clean and bright, and it syncs perfectly with the rest of my setup. It’s comfortable for long sessions, has great build quality, and the sensor is extremely accurate — no lag or weird tracking issues at all. For the price, this mouse feels premium and performs even better. If you’re looking for a reliable and customizable gaming mouse, this one is definitely worth it.

Feels great for large hands. Palm grip is full and comfortable. Got a great matte texture and the movements are smooth and fluid. Very stylish in its white color and curves. They're scroll wheel is more tactical and substantial with every scroll "tick." It does feel more precise. Comparing to other mice like the naga, viper, orochi (current models as of 2026) the deathadder v4 has the best form for my large hands. If they ever made this model with the Naga hex or MMO attachment with the 12 side buttons, then I wouldn't need anything else. Connectivity is fine, no weird disconnect issues except for my first gaming session where I was trying to play with it at less than half battery out of the box. You may want to charge it to full first. I had some minor skipping a couple of times. Battery life seems fine. It's still at 100% since I charged it yesterday at 2000mhz polling rate. Easy to use, quick to set up, solid construction. Expensive, sure, but no other mouse feels this comfortable and I've tried other brands.
