This mouse is comfortable, lightweight, & easy on the eyes. While it is a wired mouse, the cord is flexible so it doesn’t tug or interfere with motion. The braided cord and rgb lighting give it a premium feel. Overall a solid option if you don’t want to dish out $100+ on a mouse.

A great Gaming Mouse!!! A budget mouse will all the bells as whistles the Basilisk Ultimate offers barring the wireless capabilities and $100 less. It has a nice weight to it and the cable does not bind or drag on the mouse matt. This mouse conforms to your hand wonderfully, as long as you don't have overly large hands. The thumb shelf is great, PTFE feet glide with ease, The buttons are clicky and responsive and feel great. NO mis-inputs or midclicks from this mouse. So many buttons to custom map what ever you would like with the Razer Synapse program! The additional RGB under glow was a great aesthetic upgrade. The ability to map a button to manually change between the 2 scroll modes is very nice to go from "Game mode" to "productivity mode". The auto function of this feature is so-so and only kicks into the free scroll mode after a generous amount of scrolling. I would recommend to do as I did and map it to a button. Unlike the Ultimate and V2 versions the stiffer scroll mode is not as stiff as what the previous versions offers with the manual adjustment. For me the stiffer scroll mode is not definitive enough for me and my gaming but the user of this mouse has no complaints. For $70 you cant get a better mouse from Razer This was bought as a gift to upgrade a family member from the V2 and they love it!

If you are looking for a wireless mouse, this is not the one for you. But if you're okay with the wired version, this is a very smooth and comfortable mouse.

Best mouse I've ever used. For the price you can't go wrong. Comfortable, slides easy, good weight, nice adjustability, and tracks perfectly. I really like that you can adjust the scroll wheel for increments or free wheeling scrolling. The software for the mouse is just a plus and makes it an even better mouse. I highly recommend this mouse.

Owned the mouse for over a year. I expected the tilting scroll wheel to be a gimick but I use it a lot. No buttons have failed over the year. If you don't like a back heavy mouse it's not for you.

This is a great mouse. I'm a Razer hardware boy from way back and this has been been no exception to that rule. It's been an awesome performer since I got it and I use my mouse for at least eight hours every day and usually a lot more than that when I'm gaming or working. It's hefty (even for a corded mouse) and I like mice with a bit of heft to them. It helps me keep slow twitch muscles under control while I'm gaming. It also provides a tactical advantage during gaming sessions with the adjustable optical sensor, onboard profiling, and fast button switches that I've come to expect and love about Razer mice and keyboards. In the every day: the mouse tracks perfectly, no jitter, no jolts, and the RGB looks amazing. I'm also happy that I can use the mouse without Razer's software installed though as that is a little bit resource intensive. Granted, it's not as easy to program the RGB (I have to use a third part piece of software), but in the end, I'd rather have color fading RGB than a resource hog. If you catch it on sale or at a reduced price, grab one. Or just grab one at full price. Either way, you won't regret it. :)

I really like this mouse! I have tremors in my hands. Which makes me constantly push buttons because of how sensitive others are. This one has a place to hold my thumb in place. It is super customizable and makes scrolling a breeze. You can scroll side to side as well as up and down with the roller. I didn't even know they could do that. For the price point it is perfect. You won't regret it!!

    Great mouse for FPS

Excellent gaming mouse for shooters and battle royales with a good grip and smooth motion. Sensitivity clutch is great for precise aim while keeping a high dpi for general look movement. Most newer model razer mice have switched to fully wireless, but I still prefer wired models like this.

My new favorite mouse. As a wow player since 94, i still click alot. This is perfect and comfortable for my hands, even with a finger injury. The extra buttons help with accessibility and added macros. Razer app has tons of customization and is easy to use and set up. Looks awesome too, with super cool built in rgb profiles like breathing fire. Worth every penny even if you dont play games, just for comfort and modability.

This mouse has been blowing my mind since I got it. I come from the bluetooth Basilisk x Hyperspeed and Corsair M65 Elite wired, and mouse has beaten them in all areas. It’s lightweight, ergonomic so comfortable to hold, has more than enough buttons to satisfy, and the RGB is beautiful. It is lighter than the M65, so I’ve caught myself swiping wayyy too much since I’m used to a heavy mouse, but my hand/wrist isn’t cramping after a few hours of use plus it’s easy to get used to. I’d definitely recommend this mouse for anyone who wants a lightweight, versatile gaming mouse that looks great and doesn’t break the bank!

    Razer Basilisk V3 Wired Mouse

I purchased this mouse about two years ago and have really enjoyed using it. I don't do any gaming these days and just use it for productivity. I prefer not to use wireless peripherals when I don't specifically need them, since I start feeling anxious about running down batteries or wearing out the rechargeable ones. Also, people have mentioned that some wireless connections can have a noticeable lag. I was previously using the standard Dell wired mice and equivalents which were totally sufficient. But the Basilisk is a definite upgrade in ergonomics and tactility, aspects I especially appreciate working on a computer for most of the day. This is the only higher-end mouse I've purchased where budget wasn't the main consideration; however, it is relatively affordable in the space of "performance" mice. The grip feels very comfortable in my hand. Clicks feel and sound very satisfying, but may be a bit loud if you are in a shared space. I use it on a fabric mouse pad and it skates around very smoothly. The sensor has worked flawlessly. There are a bunch of other cool features that I ended up not using much. I keep the middle wheel on discrete scrolling mode 99.9% of the time. There is a button that sits beyond the thumb rest to slow down the cursor and help with precise movements. There are "back" and "forward" navigation buttons that sit above the thumb, but I instinctively just use the ones on my web browser. I am a 100% Linux user, but was able to use the Razer customization software through a Windows virtual machine. My most important customizations could be saved to the mouse itself, which is greatly appreciated so I don't need to constantly run the VM. The main one was to set the RGB up so that clicking the button under the mouse turns on a constant white glow. It's a cool effect that I occasionally use for a little morale boost when pushing myself to get something done.

Excellent mouse for the price. Needed to replace my old work mouse and keyboard after 10 years of use. This mouse has all of the RGB colors you could want. It tracks better and smoother than my old mouse. For entry level gaming mouse it is worth the price.

The cheap $12 mouse I bought broke and stopped working checked online. This guy was available for pick up at my nearest Best Buy original price was like 70 or 80 bucks. It was on sale for like 50 so I bought it. It was super awesome. I now have three of them one at home on my system one at work and another one in my kids room.

Bought this for work on a whim and thought it was broken when it arrived because of freespin wheel. But after reading the manual i found the top button usually for dpi switches it from tactile to free spin. Omg this is amazing for long spreadsheets and data sets. The wheel has left/right click for scroll too which is super handy for navigating big docs. I just wanted a more comfy mouse, i didnt realize it was going to actually make my life easier and aid productivity like it has already.
