Overpriced mouse as per usual for Razer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this mouse but it's not worth it even though I got it on sale for $30 off. The retail price is just insane. I ended up returning it and just grabbing the cheapest V3 version which is the X. I will miss the RGB's but if you don't care for that but love the ergo of the Basilisk line then the V3 X is a much better deal.

Definitely overpriced
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the title says the price point is egregious especially considering the lack of a dock or the wireless charger attachment the old model and higher tier model have respectively. Otherwise there really isn't a better feeling mouse.

All around poor experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. The connectivity and interference tolerance is abysmal. Line of sight, no obstructions, even 4 feet is too far away. Why get a wireless mouse when the receiver has to practically be touching for it to work reliably. 2. Inexcusably bad wireless protocol leads to regularly "stuck" button presses, or continued motion when you have stopped; sudden unexpected motions. They could have used any of a myriad OPEN standard protocols, or even half a brain to avoid EVER having a dropped event. At the very least, when connectivity is regained, it should be aware you are not still holding down the button. This is a gaming mouse - a missed or stuck click is going to make you lose. Why would anyone want that? 3. The mouse requires the drivers AND software be running to use the features. If you log out - it goes back to default settings. Ok, a jerk move, but whatever, right? NO. The software uses abouf 6% of one core ALL THE TIME; seems to be written in javascript given the massive ram waste. It is painfully slow. Gamers expect efficiency. Razer's software is the WORST I've used across steelseries, Corsair, and Logitech. 4. Razer has an abscenely restrictive click-through / pass-through EULA that they just made even more draconian and the software demands you accept the EULA to work. Per the EULA, you aren't allowed to disassemble the mouse or the drivers should you want to improve them - or get them working properly on Linux. If you don't accept it - per the EULA, you can't use the mouse. That is disgusting enough for a boycott. 5. They used a label on the bottom that delaminates after about two months of use right around the power button. When this happens, it starts dragging on the mousepad. No, it isn't the protective plastic, and it isn't a fluke - again, happened to two in a row. Don't buy Razer product. They are like dysons. A status symbol that is really actually not very good; but very expensive.

Good Mouse, Bad Software, Going Back to 502
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Came from a Logi G502, then tried this, then went back to the 502. I think it's a good mouse, I just think the 502 is substantially better. And I do NOT like the Synapse software.

NO DOCK OR WIRELESS CHARGING WITHOUT SPENDING MORE
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this to replace my Razer Basilisk Ultimate. Basically the same exact mouse with some different lighting but this time, no dock. At this price, there shouldn't be any other optional items to purchase. It should all be in the box. But you have to purchase a wireless charging puck that connects to the bottom of the mouse just to enable wireless charging on the wireless mouse, and then purchase a wireless charging pad... I'm likely returning this as there are a ton of other offers out there if you want a wireless mouse that charges with a cable. Razer is out of control with their pricing especially for what you get and the quality of their products. Do what you want, but at least you've been warned. The wireless charging Puck is an additional $20 and the official charging dock is another $70. Total without sales - Around $250 for a mouse lol.

Pretty much a gaming version of an MX Master 3S
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the title says, this is more or less a gaming version of the very popular MX Master 3S from Logitech. This is slightly smaller, and lighter and I appreciate how much more responsive it is as a productivity mouse. I work a lot on MS365, web applications and proprietary software throughout the day and this does a great job. To me, all that RGB crap is unnecessary and I don't care for it. After hours, I play COD, WarZone and Paladins and it helps a lot with aiming. Yes it's not like the super light counterparts but honestly as a casual gamer, the weight difference doesn't really matter to me. Battery life works great. It actually shutsdown/sleeps when not in use, unlike the Razer keyboards that I have. The price is definitely on the high side, but if you can count this as an "office expense" then it's a very good productivity and gaming mouse overall.

Not for me
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually use an MX3s for work and gaming, but I tried using this for a gaming-only mouse. It just was not for me; it was small in my hand, and it felt flimsy compared to my other mouse.

Not recommend for large handed people
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only reason that I give this mouse a 3 star review is because this mouse does not fit my hand. The right side of the mouse is so small that my pinky doesn't fit and drags the pad. Other than that, the mouse workings like any other gaming mouse.

Save your money and get the Basilisk Ultimate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s okay. I’m a little upset that Razer couldn’t include the wireless charging puck in just the base model of the mouse. The dock I get not including but not including the wireless puck is just beyond me. The basilisk is a great mouse. I have 2 wired basilisk V3s and a wireless Basilisk ultimate. Comparing this to the wireless basilisk ultimate as far as performance goes I can’t really tell any significant differences or improvements between the two. It’d be much better to include just the wireless puck at the bare minimum. Im on the fence about returning this and waiting for the dock and puck bundle to go on sale before purchasing again. I can’t justify spending $20 additional dollars to get just the puck or $70 for the puck and dock. Save your money and get the Basilisk Ultimate. You only lose the infinite scroll wheel, USB-C connectivity, Bluetooth and maybe the battery life isn’t as good as the V3 Pro. But as far as performance even with the wireless adapter, I couldn’t really see a notable difference between the two.

Worst battery life on ANY MOUSE ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battery literally dies within 24-48 hours. Turning off lights makes the battery go to 3 days but it's insanely short compared to my 6 year old g903 which can go months without charging. Also, the fact you still can't save a default color without the synapse spyware installed is incredibly frustrating. I will never buy a razer product again.

Superb mouse (when it works) but expensive
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My mouse worked wirelessly for about two whole weeks. Then, one day, I got up to use the bathroom and my mouse just would not work at all. Plugged it in wired and it worked fine, and I immediately knew it was a dongle issue. So, I unplugged and replugged my dongle in and it fixed the issue... for about 10 seconds. Then it just refused to work on me anymore after that. Yes, my dongle just suddenly died after only two weeks of use. So not only are dongles arriving defective from factory, but also dying shortly after working as well. Also tried getting in contact with a Razer 'support chat agent' and it is a tedious process. Only for the agent to not properly connect and you have to start again. In my eyes, paying $160 for a mouse and then a further $70 for a dock is obscene when it's a gamble whether your dongle will be working tomorrow or not. It's a real shame because I love the shape and features of this mouse, but it just isn't worth the risk. I'm returning this item tomorrow and will probably switch to Logitech's G502X Plus instead. In my eyes, paying $160 for a mouse when it's a gamble
