The only reason that I give this mouse a 3 star review is because this mouse does not fit my hand. The right side of the mouse is so small that my pinky doesn't fit and drags the pad. Other than that, the mouse workings like any other gaming mouse.

The battery literally dies within 24-48 hours. Turning off lights makes the battery go to 3 days but it's insanely short compared to my 6 year old g903 which can go months without charging. Also, the fact you still can't save a default color without the synapse spyware installed is incredibly frustrating. I will never buy a razer product again.

It’s okay. I’m a little upset that Razer couldn’t include the wireless charging puck in just the base model of the mouse. The dock I get not including but not including the wireless puck is just beyond me. The basilisk is a great mouse. I have 2 wired basilisk V3s and a wireless Basilisk ultimate. Comparing this to the wireless basilisk ultimate as far as performance goes I can’t really tell any significant differences or improvements between the two. It’d be much better to include just the wireless puck at the bare minimum. Im on the fence about returning this and waiting for the dock and puck bundle to go on sale before purchasing again. I can’t justify spending $20 additional dollars to get just the puck or $70 for the puck and dock. Save your money and get the Basilisk Ultimate. You only lose the infinite scroll wheel, USB-C connectivity, Bluetooth and maybe the battery life isn’t as good as the V3 Pro. But as far as performance even with the wireless adapter, I couldn’t really see a notable difference between the two.

My mouse worked wirelessly for about two whole weeks. Then, one day, I got up to use the bathroom and my mouse just would not work at all. Plugged it in wired and it worked fine, and I immediately knew it was a dongle issue. So, I unplugged and replugged my dongle in and it fixed the issue... for about 10 seconds. Then it just refused to work on me anymore after that. Yes, my dongle just suddenly died after only two weeks of use. So not only are dongles arriving defective from factory, but also dying shortly after working as well. Also tried getting in contact with a Razer 'support chat agent' and it is a tedious process. Only for the agent to not properly connect and you have to start again. In my eyes, paying $160 for a mouse and then a further $70 for a dock is obscene when it's a gamble whether your dongle will be working tomorrow or not. It's a real shame because I love the shape and features of this mouse, but it just isn't worth the risk. I'm returning this item tomorrow and will probably switch to Logitech's G502X Plus instead. Same issue as the other reviewer. It saw the receiver during initial setup, but after that the mouse doesn't respond whatsoever. I've messed around with it a bit but couldn't get it working with the included wireless receiver. Mouse isn't even detected by Windows at all and doesn't even show in device manager. Definitely a bad batch if it's this common of a problem. I managed to get the mouse working via hypershift with my wireless Razer Black Widow, but that's not really an acceptable solution in my eyes.

New travel mouse for gaming. It's a perfect travel mouse for gaming and it works just fine to replace my g700s.

I was hesitant between this one and Logitech 502 wireless. Both are amazing, can’t decide which one is better, but the Razer was on sale with the charging dock + it has amazing RGB colors when compared to Logitech. It does have adjustment for the scroll resistance but Still missing the continuous scroll of Logitech 502 though, which I think is superior to the adjusted scroll on Razer.

Looks and feels great but the scroll wheel didnt work right out the box. I returned it and bought a logitech mouse.

Been using it for a month and works great until the scroll wheel is now stuck in free spin mode. No problems with the wireless dongle or the new wireless charging mouse dock with 4k polling for 4 weeks. Overall, I liked it except for this wheel spin issue. Some Reddit users experiencing same issues. Returning for an exchange. Hope it’s a bad batch and not a poorly designed software controlled tactile wheel feature.

Broke down the doble and Bluetooth doesn’t work unfortunately

I work with AutoCAD and Adobe software 8-10 hours a day. The Basilisk V3 Pro works well w/ my larger hands. I've gone through and tested about every high rated mouse on the market this year (2022). Personally I believe this mouse works best w/ larger hands. Would highly recommend picking one up.

It’s a good mouse but with all the RGB and buttons it was a bit too heavy for me.

The wheel on this mouse is complete junk. It often gets stuck or pops out. When it does work, it is really sensitive. Do not use this mouse for any competitive gaming.

Wasn't sure about this mouse, but I love it. Multiple buttons are customizable. Has a great grip and feel and glides very smoothly. I love the ability to be wireless or wired depending on the setup and my mood. Overall, a great mouse!

Like the other reviews, the 2.4 wireless adapter does not work. I tried three different computers/laptops and none of them saw the adapter or mouse despite it being on. The mouse works wired and via Bluetooth but that's not the way I want to use it. I'll be returning the mouse.

I've owned this mouse for a year and the scroll wheel wont register clicks anymore

I purchased two of these from BB and both have an issue where they do not work wirelessly. They work for a few seconds and then the receiver stops "seeing" the mouse. I've tried the linking software from Razer but it won't even recognize the receiver. I'm thinking it's a bad batch.

The Basilisk V3 Pro is absolutely with out a doubt, the worst wireless bluetooth gaming mouse I have ever had to use. The side button in front of the thumb rest is incredibly sensitive and I find that I have to leave it turned off because I constantly key it by accident. The battery life is atrocious by typical BT mouse standards, I'm lucky to get about 8 hours on a full charge. I would not be mad if it was a $40-$70 mouse, but I don't think it is worth 159.99 under any circumstances. If you are seriously considering this mouse, I am pleading with you and urging you to look into other options.

The wireless USB dongle is indeed defective from factory. Failed USB device in device manager. Tried to force a driver/firmware update by hard wiring the mouse and running updates but no luck. Razer support confirmed and stated that the dongle needs to be replaced. Nothing like a brand new item, fresh out of the box, that needs a part RMA'd...
