Always used razer mice, however I feel the quality is going downhill. Less than a year after purchase I'm having issues with the mouse double clicking when I single click. Very disappointing. Ended up buying a Corsair mouse and way happier with it.

It is an ok mouse it is quite heavy at 120g its not the best for fps play moving a brick across your desk but it works well. Only issue is the right click went out after about 6 months so did my friend's mouse.

I am not a gamer, I am a graphic designer, I work 12 hours a day with the mouse, more or less. It is hard to explain how a mouse should be but I have learned through years of working that when I hold a mouse once I know if I want it or not, and I know why (for my preferences, of course, people are different). I have been using Razer models for more than 8 years, and the best one I found was the Taipan, which I bought many of that model for me and my staff. But today I picked up my first Basilisk and I had a feeling that I am going to return it the day after, because of the shape, but I had to try, and it turned out that I was wrong. The weight is well-thought and the mouse moves properly with the right amount of push (when you work more than 10 hours a day, it makes a big difference how much the mouse reacts to the push). Basilisk is weighted perfectly, even better than Taipan. The shape is perfect! Not too small, but small enough to be handled with the two fingers on the buttons, without having the palm pushing the back. Again, I am not a gamer, but the little switch they added to the left side of the mouse is very beneficial, if you will, for whatever reason you want to use, I use it to render the page in the web-design app I use since I have to render once every few minutes, and the switch is very well-positioned. The scroll stiffness is adjustable, but... it could be better if their app supported smooth scrolling in MacOs. It is a pity that the mouse can be adjusted to smooth scroll, but the app does not support it in MacOS, so basically it is just useless, and scrolling is still stepped. The sensor, as I apprehended, is the same as the one in Deathadder, which is more than enough for human's hand gesture capability, lol. Anyhow, I am kipping it and I love it, good job Razer. I tried almost all models, and return almost all of them (except the Deathadders, and Taipans), but I am keeping this one, this is my new favorite mouse.

Had issues with the device itself. Had to reach out to Razer to fix the problem. Sensor was not reading the mouse pad and thus created a lag while using.

Just want to show a picture for reference. Death adder side by side. This piece is painful after a couple hours of fps, on the two grip fingers namely the finger next to the pinky

This is my second one of these. The first one was replaced due to the left mouse button failing after a year. Now this one is having the exact same problem. When holding down the button it will sometimes release before I let go. This causes all sorts of problems! I'm done with the Razer brand. There software has always been terrible and now I'm consistently having issues with the hardware. Pickup up a Glorious D instead. No complaints yet.

Current software does not support my Blackwidow x keyboard (which is less than a year old). Older software will not support the mouse. Razer claims you can run 2 versions of their software. Which I tried. The mouse would turn itself on after the PC had shut down. My attempts to convey my problems to razer were met with the comment "we will forward the issue but can't guarantee it will be addressed.

Everything about this mouse is great except for the scroll wheel. The two I bought, the one my sister bought, and all the store display models had scroll wheels displaying erratic behavior. When scrolling with the scroll wheel, this mouse will often either scroll twice, or not scroll at all. This makes scrolling pages feel unresponsive, and playing most video games extremely difficult.
