Good, minor flaws

This is a good product for a decent gaming headset/casual. My girlfriend and I will both share it as she will use it for calls and I will use it for all uses. There is a minor frequency hertz sound, but if you are playing something with sound consistently it either feels apart of the game or barely noticeable. I wish it wasn’t there, but it’s not bad enough to disregard it. It is definitely better than my Xbox provided headset where the ear parts were small and hurt for 3 months till I got used to it.

TLDR: Lightweight, comfortable, great mic, long battery. Bad sound quality though.
I hate to provide a negative review on a Razer product (that's all I get), but I need to provide honest feedback that may help someone make an informed purchase.
First the positive. This is a very comfortable and very light weighing headset. You can wear it for hours and not feel much fatigue. You can connect to your PC via Hyperspeed wireless 2.4, while simultaneously being connected to your phone on Bluetooth. The settings allow you to to customize the connectivity experience. The battery on this thing lasts a long time as advertised. I only charge it about once a week with daily use. Even if you do have to charge them, you can still use them while they are charging. The volume wheel and buttons to switch between equalizer settings are easy to do and helpful. The microphone is probably among the very best, having incredible sound quality.
Now the cons. The only and biggest complaint I have is the sound quality. I have $20 headphones with better sound quality. The bass is lacking, and you have to turn the volume up pretty high to hear all the sounds in games, videos, or any media. Even at volume levels near halfway, it's very "muddy" and sounds like the stereo system in an old car that had its speakers blown out. That same sound. I even downloaded the Razer 7.1 surround sound app, hoping it would fix it, but it didn't. Apparently, the drivers' firmware had an update to these a few years ago and made them this way. You can google articles from numerous other users with the same complaint: about the sound quality. My only caveat is that these headphones are advertised as Dolby Atmos compatible and I am not going to pay for that to see if it fixes the sound issues. To be honest, even if it did, I would be highly upset to have to purchase sound software to make them sound even close to my old headset. These headphones were a complete step back from the Razer Kraken V2 I had to replace with these (they broke, otherwise I sure would choose those over these).
Overall, I'd recommend them if you just want to use these for gaming and don't care about the best sound quality.

I purchased the Razer Blackshark V2 Hyperspeed Wireless Headset during the Black Friday deal, for $59.99 and oh boy, I love it! I mainly use it for work, and the quality is truly amazing. I needed a headset that could connect via wired, wireless, and Bluetooth, and this was exactly what I was looking for. Setup was easy, and switching between connection modes is seamless. The sound is clear, the fit is comfortable for long hours, and the battery life is impressive. Highly recommended!

VERY solid headset makes sound pop like never before. Awesome eq presets in case one isnt to your liking and with a pc you can set a custom eq. Only con is the mic is not detachable unlike the v3 pro wireless still a solid headset especially with the 70 hour life span its fantastic And its very comfy.

Headset overall is great, the microphone is overall clear and pretty crisp, have had other headsets where this is an issue but not for this model. The drivers on the headphones have a wide range of sounds that they pick up and sound loud and decently high pitched while also providing good sound for the low frequency for the bass enjoyers, mids are also great sounding especially for the price point. Also headset sounds great when connected via Bluetooth to a phone, the mic quality is not as good as if you use the dongle/usb to connect to your pc or console but it sounds good and overall sound quality is great. Battery life is also pretty extensive so thats another plus amongst others in this price range. Would greatly recommend this headset or the newer model for anyone looking to buy a razer product.

I bought this headset to use for both work and play. This Razer headset is very comfortable. Holds a charge for a long time and has quite a few features. The headset is capable of connecting via Bluetooth, 2.4ghz wireless and directly corded via USB-C. While using the wireless dongle you can also connect another device via Bluetooth. As long as the wireless connection is silent you can play audio through the Bluetooth. The headset will also prioritize Bluetooth if it's connected to your phone and you receive a call. There's also a nice volume knob and mute toggle button. The power button doubles as a play/pause button with a single press. Overall the headset is packed with features and it's been excellent for gaming as well as voice calls. I highly recommend it

It’s a really solid headset for wireless gaming, my small issues are the razer software the ability to not use Bluetooth AND the headset at the same time, and how the ear pads are itchy. I put in some 3rd party ear pads to have a more secure fit and isolates a lot of background noise so I can hear better with this headset on
Other than that, after some tuning in the equalizer it sounds really nice and the battery lasts a very long time as well. This headset will last forever before it needs a charge. Overall, 4/5 and its worth it if you want a nice and light wireless headset.

Great replacement or compliment to th Corsair HS80

Really good value for price. Headset build quality is good for being cheaper. Audio quality is superb for playback, especially bass. Sidetone quality is lacking, not nearly as good as the Corsair HS80. While the ear cushions themselves aren't as cozy feeling as the HS80, it's made up for by how lightweight the headset overall is. Wish the mic piece itself was flip up style like the HS80, too. Battery life is absolutely amazing. Went through at least 3 full days of gaming sessions, plenty of juice left. Wish the wireless receiver was designed to fit other USB-C cables, very few will due to the slot design. Wireless range is good, playing on 3rd story, able to walk down to 1st story while still chatting without any signal fade issues. Great value headset, hard competitor to the HS80! Still have the HS80 around, sometimes i switch back and forth. Best of all, plug n play functionality with macOS and windows. My macbook doesnt like the HS80, current software bugs the headset out where it constantly connects then disconnects every 2 seconds.. the Razer has no issues!

"Budget" choice

As far as a budget headset goes these are solid. The sound stage is pretty good for FPS the mic is pretty solid also. The sound quality is where it falls short for me but I have a 2.1 setup for that. Battery life is great I charge it roughly once a week with moderate use. One complaint is my bluetooth never worked correctly it will randomly disconnect and I would have to manually reconnect each time.

I purchased the protection plan for my son on his CORSAIR - HS70 PRO Wireless Gaming Headset which was discontinued from my understanding when I went to change it out for a broken piece. So far there has been no issues with this headset and appears to be working well. He is pleased with the product, its comfortable, he can hear and speak through the mic clearly.

Very comfortable to wear for long hours. The microphone sounds great, and the app for the headphones allow for lots of customizations. I bought a different pair of headphones first and they broke a little after 2 weeks, and then i exchanged them for these, and although they cost more, they are definitely worth the money. I cant speak on the wireless capability of the headphones as i have not used that feature yet, i have only used them wired so far.

I got this headset for 69.99 during black friday which was a steal considering the sound and mic quality on this headset. It's also very versatile, being able to connect practically any system including bluetooth. Very easy and very light.
