I have been gaming for a few years now and always struggled finding a decent headset that would not break the bank. Footsteps are clear and the audio is just phenomenal. By far my favorite headset for the price.

TL;DR - They sound good once you get all the extra optional software installed; the non-adjustable headband was okay if you wear them "properly"; the microphone sounds absolutely terrible (like you're far away and talking through a can with string); I highly strongly sincerely recommend the Corsair HS80 gaming headset over this! In-depth review - I returned these things after 1 day of "use" -- and most of that time was spent trying to get them to sound halfway decent. I installed the required software needed to run them and everything sounded HORRIBLE. Turns out that you need to install the optional software as well for the EQ and sound options. I understand that that's not that big of a deal, and they did indeed sound good after I got it all installed and set up, but I didn't want all of their bloatware and unnecessary junk on my computer. Turns out I had no choice in the matter. But there was another issue with the mic that I just couldn't accept. According to my gaming buddies, it sounded substantially more horrible than my webcam mic that I'd been using. NOTHING that I could do would allow me to fix or adjust this either. So after the constant complaints of not being able to understand and hear me, I finally just unplugged them and went back to my webcam and external speakers. Another thing to touch on is the non-adjustable headband. For reference, I wear a size L motorcycle helmet and these things just barely fit my head, although it was a good fit once I wore them "properly". If you have a larger head though then you might want to skip these. I took these back and spent $6 more for the Corsair HS80 headset and it was night and day!! I did have to install a Dolby app from the MS Store on my Windows 10 system, but they sound so much better and the microphone is absolutely perfect. Even if these BlackSharks are okay or good enough for you, the other is just so much better all the way around.

Connected effortlessly. Only downside is there is no bluetooth so you are only using it with the USB wireless. Sound is great. Mic sounds okay. Charging and battery length has not been am issue.

Got these as a grad gift for someone and they said they love it - it fits well to the head without squeezing, good sound quality, and doesn’t give you ear fatigue.
