Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the BlackShark V2 Pro's exceptional sound quality and comfortable design. Many also praise its long battery life and lightweight feel, making it enjoyable for extended gaming sessions. However, some users mention the price point as a potential drawback, and a few express concerns about the wireless range and software experience. While some aspects require improvement, the positive feedback on audio and comfort is prominent.

It's a really solid option for getting into a wireless gaming headset. after doing a lot of research and not ready to fully jump into the intricacies of a true gaming headphones experience. These are working well.

Bought for my husband, we're both PC players and he did not love them. He replaced his Steel series with these and the mic isn't great (muffled) and a lot of echo no matter how much he messed with settings. All in all not a horrible headset but not great for the price point either. Love my Logitech headset though and my husband remains a Steelseries fan.

Works great wired but poor mic quality on wireless

I like that this headset gives you the option of connecting via wireless (USB dongle) or a 3.5 mm cable, which is, sadly, rare nowadays. The headset works perfectly while wired, but when connected wirelessly it has a hard time dealing with both the speakers and the mic (maybe a bandwidth issue?), with the mic’s voice quality suffering greatly (audio coming through the headphones is fine). It’s “usable” while on wireless, but definitely does not meet expectations for a wireless gaming headset. I also noticed that the wireless range is only about 10 feet, which is far less than other wireless gaming headsets. I’ve heard these issues were resolved in the 2023 Bluetooth version of this headset, but that version can’t connect via 3.5mm cable, so there’s a tradeoff I guess. My experience with every other aspect of this headset was great but since it functions poorly on wireless, I returned it and can’t recommend it relative to other options.

The sound on these was pretty good. Better than most other headphones for the price that I've used. Unfortunately, the microphone was virtually useless. I adjusted the settings and still nothing worked to fix it. In multiplayer my teams couldn't hear me. So i had to return it

Writing this review brings up mixed feelings for me. Have we stopped demanding vendors to create a decent product since weve come to rely on what is available in this pandemic... I bought these because all the research I did showed these to be one of the best headsets on the market. Its NOT, its not even close. I had connectivity issues straight out of the box. I assumed it was a driver issue and started updating and downloaded all require software. The headset being less than 3 feet with clear vision would just disconnect randomly in the middle of my meetings for work .The only way I could get it to work again was remove the USB dongle, turn the headset off, connect the dongle back up and turn the headset back on. Another annoyance was that the charge cable would come loose when charging, even with a locking cable I bought on Amazon I would come back to my office the following day to see the cable on the ground with no charge. I knew for a fact it would fall out since Id have to sit EXTREMELY still when charging/using or the cable would fall out. Trust me DONT buy this, Im staying with Logitech. This proved to me that it was the better brand of the two.

It doesn't pick up sounds other than myself so I like it no back ground noise . And I also like that I can move my mic piece closer or further away from my mouth if I choose . great for the price .

I give this headset a 3 star because everything about the design is solid for the price. However, the sound quality isn't good at all. it lacks clarity and everything sounds gritty. For a gaming headset I don't recommend. If you don't care about sound quality and just want a headset that will last, then this a solid choice
