Design: all black with a detachable boom mic. The headband has a matte texture with a wide band of foam contacting the head that feels soft and distributed the weight well. The ear cups are also with a nice feeling memory foam to provide cushioning. After playing several hours of overwatch I didn’t feel like I was uncomfortable. Some other competitors headsets in the similar price range include active cooling in the ear to prevent overheating. I didn’t really feel I missed that feature with these headsets even though memory foam tends to run on the hotter side. Battery life: nothing short of remarkable. Advertised battery life is 70 hours on a full charge, 6 hours on a 15 minute charge. I’ve only had to recharge the headset once every week and a half. Thankfully no proprietary charging ports nor charging cables. The Razer v2 Pro uses a good old fashioned USB C connector, which by now, most people probably have at least a few lying around the house. Sound quality was good, I wouldn’t really be trying to listen for studio quality on albums, but certainly tuned well for gaming. Great battery life, convenient USB C charging, and very comfortable design. Highly recommend

    Best gaming wireless headset ever

Awesome gaming headphones I thought initially they were just another set of wireless headphones. After unboxing them and plugging in the wireless connection reciever then it prompted me to install razer software. Initially I was not interested. After reading more about the product the only way to update the sound profiles is to install the razer software and create a profile. Upon creating the user account it kept failing on the captcha. There was no way to make an account online. Out of frustration I just used my gmail login to create the account. After that I was prompted for an update and the. The sound profiles for different games. This is where they took an amazing turn. I found the sound profile during Fortnite to be very accurate. In fact the best I have ever heard for spatial sound awareness. These are very well tuned and I did not have to mess with any settings. After several days of use they were really comfortable and the microphone picked up my voice very well. I do think they look very dated but I will accept that as a con since that is the only con I have. I really do not see an area that they can improve.

Pretty comfortable. Sound is good. Microphone is good. Looks nice. Wireless is very good. Sometimes acts a little funky on Linux but it's infrequent and I haven't bothered looking into it yet.

Great wireless headphones, some small issues.

I LOVE wearing these headphones. In my opinion, the sound is excellent and better than any other headphones I've had. The microphone is great and rivals some dedicated mics in my opinion. The battery life is good and I don't need to charge for days. For some reason, sometimes when I click on a YouTube video, the first half a second to three seconds of the video doesn't have audio. I've also had seemingly random beeps happen (like when you have low battery). Overall, these headphones are great but have some flaws that get under my skin.

Really comfortable. Battery holds a charge for a long time. Audio is good but not the best. Downloading Razers software helps a bit.

This headset is much better rhan the previous flagship razer headset - Razer Nari Ultimate. More comfortable and battery life is better than before. Also sound quality is improved too.

Like most people I feel in more recent times, I’ve used a lot of headphones, and the one thing that is always the most important thing is not the sound but the comfort and build quality. At least in my opinion anyway, these headphones cover that base totally. The cloth ear cups while a little warm at times are very comfortable. If I’m wearing the headset I don’t feel like I need to take it off and take a break at all, which is great for those long gaming sessions. Sound wise they sound decent, they are not audiophile headphones so I don’t expect them to be that good but they give good sound in all the right places and honestly once I have been wearing them for a while I almost forget they are on, and that I’m listening to headphones so I would say its good. The mic quality is also really good for a gaming headset, the only complaint I really have is that the mic arm is not quite long enough for my head shape so instead of sitting in front of my mouth where I would normally like it to be it is off to the side. This can cause me to sound quiet to my teammates while playing sometimes and I either have to speak louder or try to pull it closer to my mouth, neither of which is a great solution. The other great thing is I’ve not had a single issue with wireless dropouts or anything which is normally my biggest issue with wireless headsets. Overall I feel this is a great option if you’re looking for a good headset in general, the wireless nature just gives it that much more of an edge over some other options. One final thing that is an issue for me, as soon as you plug in the headset USB dongle the razer installer auto starts. This is really really annoying to me. Give me the option to click on an installer with an auto open folder sure but don’t run an installer as soon as the device is plugged in, that’s not great. The mic boom length and auto installer are the reason it gets docked a few stars Otherwise it's been a great headset.

My old head set didnt support dynamic range and couldnt hear footsteps. Downloading the software allows you to change the frequency for better audio equalization. Together im able to tune it to where i can pinpoint exactly where these bots are. Overall great mic aswell, could be better tho. My teamates said its loud so id advise keeping it at least 2 inches away from your mouth. Im buying this for my cousins birthday next week. Highly recommend for someone who has the spare change and is looking for an exellent allround gaming headset.

The Razer - BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Wireless THX Spatial Audio Esports Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch – Black after the installation of Razer Synapse app gives my ears an experience similar to viewing a movie in an IMAX theater. I can differentiate amongst all the different sounds clearly. Viewing my computer screen with the Razer - BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Wireless THX Spatial Audio Esports Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch – Black gives an experience of actually becoming absorbed into the game or video that I am watching. Using the Razer - BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Wireless THX Spatial Audio Esports Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch – Black without installing Razer Synapse app still works, but I can notice the lesser sound quality. The ear pads are extremely soft and cushiony. My ears fit inside the ear pads with no tightness or discomfort. They can be adjusted to fit tight or loose, depending on your preference. The Razer - BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Wireless THX Spatial Audio Esports Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch – Black also has a a detachable microphone that delivers clear and crisp vocals. The Razer - BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Wireless THX Spatial Audio Esports Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch – Black is worth the minimal amount of money it cost. I am surprised they are not priced for $400 or more, because they function comparable to the higher end Headsets.

Bought this version of the headset in Dec 2023 and needed to replace it in April 2025 after the right speaker stopped working. Built quality is fair, however it wasn't impressive. The cuff shells are solid, but the headset is charged with a Micro-USB which is more susceptible to wearing out compared to more common USB C/A formfactors. The sound quality was good and the headset fit comfortably and could be worn for hours. Volume adjustment left allot to be desired. The volume knob doesn't link to OS (Windows) and has a steep adjustment curve. I found turning it on or a little past 'max' caused the volume in on of the ears to decrease. Related to the microphone, it needed to be really close to the mouth in order to pick up speech and required regular adjustment. Additionally, the range of the Bluetooth dongle was really weak compared to an older Logitech lightspeed headset I had. (Blackshark V2 appeared to be more susceptible to interference from barriers. My signal would start cutting out on the other side of my bedroom if the monitor was in the way of the dongle. For comparison, I was able to maintain good connectivity to the Logitech one floor directly below the room.) Overall, this headset is kind of mid for the price the Razer is asking for.

The headset came put of the box fully charged and easy to setup. The sound quality is good for gaming and friends have noticed the improved microphone quality. The Razer software is easy to use and I never have to worry about running out of battery. Great product!

Bought these due to my ears being so large, these were some of the only headphones that fit me. Really great sound quality and the battery life lasts days on a full charge. They do not hurt my ears when wearing them for a long time.

*Day 1 Review* This is my first day owning this headset. I’ll do another review in about 6 months to see how they hold up. Overall super sweet headset. Audio is a 9/10, microphone is a 9/10 as well. I like the Bluetooth capability so you can link it to your phone and listen to music or whatever you wanna do. Very nice function. I use these for my PS5 and Astro A50’s for my PC and I would honestly say they’re pretty neck and neck microphone and audio wise. Cheaper than A50’s but to me, works just as good.

Overall, this is a great product. To take some time to break in because I found it to be a little tight around the ears, but once you spend some time with it, you won't even notice that it's on your head. Mic, quality is amazing which makes it great for a do- it all type of headset. Just wish it worked with Xbox! I'll still give it five stars because I believe it's the fault of Xbox and not of razor
