Needed a wireless headset to play VR with. Decently comfortable and easily adjustable out of the box. The cups were a bit small for my ears so wearing for longer than a couple hours was not the best experience. As for the sound: these were probably some of the worst sounding headphones I’ve ever used. Super muddy and listening to my friends was super harsh on my ears. Synapse EQ didn’t help much, and that comes with the downside of having to download Synapse. Using 2.4 dongle always left a constant buzzing sound, similar to ANC white noise but more annoying. Mic quality was surprisingly good though, but I don’t care what my friends hear. I’d like to have an enjoyable audio experience too lmao

The 2023 version of the Razer black shark V2 Pro were surprisingly a disappointment. The new headset has a slight buzzing sound when the headphones are on with zero sound playing. The quality of the mic were ok, but other microphones offer better quality at a cheaper price such as the Audio technica mx50s. The one thing I really loved about these headphones were the comfortability of the ear muffs and headband. Unfortunately, after a week the headphones began to have connectivity problems by causing slight static as if I was too far away from the usb port. Even though the port is directly in front me. Overall, I don’t recommend these headphones , if anything you should pick up the generation before these or pick up beyerdynamic dt770 pros. They offer better quality with the almost the same amount of comfort.

So this is an excellent headset but it isn’t compatible with Xbox so I couldn’t use it.

Returned for a couple of reasons: 1. shelf price tag shows it at $180 but it rang up at $198. I informed the cashier of the prices (should have taken a picture of it) and the supervisor dismissed it at first saying the price is for an older model and finally sold me the headphones at $184. Then the supervisor tries to sale me buying a 2 year warranty on it. 2. The headset never connected - see the common complaints on redit.

Sound is great! Paired easily. My Grandson loved them.

Great simple headset. Audio is great and not over complicated

A terrible user experience because of bad software and driver support from Razer. Headphones paired initially with wifi dongle and then will randomly decide to no longer pair. The only fix I've found is completely uninstalling all Razer software, wiping all Razer drivers, rebooting my PC and reinstalling everything. Even then sometimes the headset will fail to pair after and I have to go through the whole process again. Do not waste your money on this broken product.
