The headphones look very good. However they sound very muffled and they are very boomy sounding and very hard to hear what is around you in game.

6 months later its just broke i dont get why it broke i taken care of it like it it broke from the inside cheap

dont buy, headphone is crackling and popping sounds not even 6 months into purchase. spent $220 + tax.

This product is supposed to pair with PlayStation but it doesn’t.

A bit of background before I kick off this review. I've been using a wireless gaming headset from a competitor for the past 6 years. The microphone was always lacking, and while the audio was reasonably good, the battery life was rather poor. Sometimes I couldn't get through more than half a night of weekend gaming with friends before the headset was dead. Needless to say - I was interested to see what's out there for premium headsets. I've demoed a few of them at Best Buy in the past, but I never found one that I liked in terms of quality, comfort, sound, and mic quality. The BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 is by far the best headset I've used to date. I've been using the 2.4GHz PC connection and utilizing Bluetooth on the headset for the past week. One thing I really like? I can double-tap one of the headset buttons to switch between pairing with my gaming PC and my Pixel 7 Pro. It's so convenient and fast! I can go from chatting with my team in a game of Left 4 Dead, and immediately switch to a phone call on my cell phone. And the audio quality is seriously good. The Razer Synapse program on my PC lets me change the equalizer settings for my headset's audio, and it's been awesome testing it out with some of my favorite competitive shooters. Every game has its own distinct audio range for footsteps, weapon fire, character voice, etc. so being able to choose between canned equalizer settings in Synapse and adjust the audio as needed has been awesome. The mic quality on this headset is unmatched by any headset audio I've heard in the past. The range and quality of sound is top notch. So for anyone who is worried about getting a headset with a bad mic, you'll want to consider the BlackShark V2 Pro 2023. Everyone in my Discord thought I was using a standalone mic, my friends were shocked when I told them the mic audio was coming from a wireless headset. In my house, I can leave my basement and still get a strong 2.4GHz connection with my PC, so that's really nice for grabbing some food or a quick drink. The battery life on the BlackShark is astonishingly impressive too. It took about a week of me working and gaming on my PC for the battery to get low, so I have no complaints about battery. To wrap it up, I highly suggest everyone checks out this headset. I've never been a big fan of Razer products, but this headset completely changes my perspective on who they are as a company. If they continue making products this good, I might end up having a lot of Razer accessories for my PC.

Razer has entered the market with a solid headset that any gamer would love to use. The Blackshark V2 Pro is such a lightweight headset that makes it feel as though you aren't wearing a headset at all. When you connect the wireless headset to its dongle its instantaneous. The quality of the sound reproduction captures your low, mid, and high frequencies quite well, where any audiophile would be impressed with its quality. Now you aren't buying this headset to listen to music only. It is clearly designed with THX immersive sound in mind, so think more gaming. When playing FPS games and games that require spatial orientation and awareness the BlackShark V2 lives up to the expectation. After playing a few hours of Call of Duty, Overwatch, and Harry Potter I could tell my awareness of every gaming situation was different from using past headsets. I was picking up on audio cues that I previously would have never detected. Touching upon the microphone, it is what you would expect out of a headset microphone. The audio capture of the microphone does not capture an insane dynamic range of frequencies like a professional microphone would, but that isn't the point of it. Its for communication, not broadcast. In the communication aspect, it far exceeds that expectation.

Awesome gaming headphones I thought initially they were just another set of wireless headphones. After unboxing them and plugging in the wireless connection reciever then it prompted me to install razer software. Initially I was not interested. After reading more about the product the only way to update the sound profiles is to install the razer software and create a profile. Upon creating the user account it kept failing on the captcha. There was no way to make an account online. Out of frustration I just used my gmail login to create the account. After that I was prompted for an update and the. The sound profiles for different games. This is where they took an amazing turn. I found the sound profile during Fortnite to be very accurate. In fact the best I have ever heard for spatial sound awareness. These are very well tuned and I did not have to mess with any settings. After several days of use they were really comfortable and the microphone picked up my voice very well. I do think they look very dated but I will accept that as a con since that is the only con I have. I really do not see an area that they can improve.

Pretty comfortable. Sound is good. Microphone is good. Looks nice. Wireless is very good. Sometimes acts a little funky on Linux but it's infrequent and I haven't bothered looking into it yet.

Overall, this is a great product. To take some time to break in because I found it to be a little tight around the ears, but once you spend some time with it, you won't even notice that it's on your head. Mic, quality is amazing which makes it great for a do- it all type of headset. Just wish it worked with Xbox! I'll still give it five stars because I believe it's the fault of Xbox and not of razor

The headset came put of the box fully charged and easy to setup. The sound quality is good for gaming and friends have noticed the improved microphone quality. The Razer software is easy to use and I never have to worry about running out of battery. Great product!

The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Gaming Headset is a major step-up for Razer's gaming headsets. It an improvement on many of the issues in both the previous versions of the BlackShark, and their entire lineup of gaming headphones as a whole. Out of the box, the headset is visibly high quality and it is very comfortable, using a type of memory foam as opposed to traditional foam that molds to the wearer's head, feeling like there is nothing on top of the user at all. Wearing this headset for long periods of time is a pleasant experience, and I never felt the need to take off the headset because of soreness, unlike many other headsets. The headset has multiple modes while in use, allowing for either Bluetooth connections to your computer or mobile device, while also supporting a wireless dongle that allows for long range and high quality connectivity. While the wireless dongle was in use, I was able to use both the microphone and hear my computer while being several rooms away, which is very useful if someone needs to get up for a snack or even listen to music while in another room for a while. Driver setup was also straightforward, and much of the downloads were directly accessible through the Razer Synapse application. This is also used to control the different audio profiles or microphone settings of the headset. Without tampering with the audio or mic settings, the sound quality is already very high, and there are no concerns of mine while listening to Spotify, YouTube, or while playing video games. The microphone is easily the best feature of the headset, sounding like a studio microphone rather than a traditional headset microphone. The clarity and pure sounds from the microphone are comparable to expensive desk-mounted microphones, and it allows for high quality voice calls and recordings. The battery life on the headset is very long lasting, allowing me to use the headset all day with many hours to spare before going to sleep. The headset is rated for 70+ hours of battery life, and the USB-C cable charges the headset to full power in a very short amount of time. Overall the headset is very high quality for what one can expect from a Razer product, and I will be using this headset as my daily driver moving forward.

This is an upscale gaming headset but it is also useful for music or phone calls. The earcups are extremely soft memory foam. I wore them on 5 occasions so far, with just over 72 hours total usage before the need for charging. I did not experience any ear pain, sweating or other discomfort – great. Some other headsets cause my ears to ache behind my ears of all places, but no pain at all from this headset. I did notice that sounds and video were in perfect sync. This is due to the super fast technology that this headset has called Razer Hyperspeed Wireless Technology. You can experience this speed I felt more when you used the 2.4 GHZ dongle that comes with the device. I tried both with the dongle and also with just Bluetooth wireless. I found both methods to be more than acceptable. The super wideband microphone was spot on and I verified it was crystal clear using phone call feedback. I did notice the microphone has a very easily adjusted little boom. This microphone does not have the ability to mute the mic by lifting the mic boom up. Instead, this microphone is muted by a button on the headset, I did not find this to be a problem once I was used to it. Having a full 2 years parts and labor warranty is super great. I felt this headset is a big step up for me for eSports games. My old set was showing a lot of wear on the earcups, so this turned out to be a great choice for me and I got a lot more than just the earcups in improvement. I had no trouble with this headset on any platform. Sometimes a device has inconsistent pairing, but this headset pairing was fast and simple. I would highly recommend the Blackshark V2 Pro headset.

I love Razer packaging. I feel like everything looks great and feels great when you open it up. This is a good size headset without feeling like it's super heavy or doesn't fit securely. I do have to wear this on the smallest setting to get it to feel like it sits where I like over my ears but that's not an issue exclusive to this headset. If you have a smaller head this should still fit you well. I like that the mic can be removed as I find myself using this as everyday headphones in addition to gaming. This was easy to connect to my phone, pc and gaming system. I didn't have any issues getting this up and running and love the dial on the ear to handle volume changes quickly. This is extremely comfortable for short term or long term use, I feel like the material and cushion are designed well and for long term wear. This feels pretty light for how heavy I expected it to be at first glance. This feels solidly built and I like the metal hinges that don't seem like they will break with repeated use. This does a pretty decent job of cancelling out a good bit of background noise and the mic also didn't pick up background noise unless it was happening pretty close to the mic.

Nice comfy headset great sound by razer. So this is the 2023 model and yes it looks like the 2022 model but there are improvements to that one. So this headset i tried with my nintendo switch on the dock and on the unit itself and they worked great . I also tried them on the Playstation 5 and they work great the sound is very good. Played CoD and fortnite competitively I can hear the footsteps with no issue at all. Same was on the PC but i can use the thx software and that made them even better. The headset is super soft, amazing cushion my head did not hurt . I didnt feel any pressure from any angle . The mic did remove most background noise I asked if they can hear my fan and most did NOT. I was impressed. Now if youre wondering why not give the headset 5 stars and I'll point the things i didn't like. Adjustments on the sides move to easily and then i have to keep adjusting the cups to my ears so the headband is center on my head. The cups rub my ears i wish they were a little bigger I have normal sized ears and it did bother if i were to chew gum. The mic to others who hear me said i sounded like a robot/tin voice i recorded myself and i agree. The mic needs an adjustment to how people sound. Its not the end of the world but I think razer can do better .

I can differentiate amongst all the different sounds clearly. Viewing my computer screen with the Razer - BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Wireless THX Spatial Audio Esports Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch – Black gives an experience of actually becoming absorbed into the game or video that I am watching. Using the Razer - BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Wireless THX Spatial Audio Esports Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch – Black without installing Razer Synapse app still works, but I can notice the lesser sound quality. The ear pads are extremely soft and cushiony. My ears fit inside the ear pads with no tightness or discomfort. They can be adjusted to fit tight or loose, depending on your preference. The Razer - BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Wireless THX Spatial Audio Esports Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch – Black also has a a detachable microphone that delivers clear and crisp vocals. The Razer - BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Wireless THX Spatial Audio Esports Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch – Black is worth the minimal amount of money it cost. I am surprised they are not priced for $400 or more, because they function comparable to the higher end Headsets.

these headphones have wonderful range and sound great too, the mic works well and I'm in a pretty noisy house so props for this, only thing I'm not too fond on is how big the ears are and the wide bars on the side
